  1. Cork and Chaplow I think.
  2. Good luck Sof. I’ve never hidden the fact that I didn’t rate him but he did put the effort in, even if he was never suited to English football.
  3. Is that at Liebherr crane on the left? Im sure there’s a good joke there somewhere, or at the very least some form of deep running irony. Anyway, good luck to him I suppose. Wasn’t his fault someone left the liquor cabinet in the boardroom unlocked.
  4. He won’t be getting his Arsenal/Everton wages from anyone else, so he’ll have to take a pay cut somewhere. I’d be surprised if we took a 32 year old permanently but stranger things happen.
  5. A few folks think Prince Phillip is our lizard overlord from a distant galaxy. You’re going to have to be more specific, please.
  6. Well, feel free to ignore them if you wish. Or continue spending however long you spent trawling irrelevant, two year old Danny Ings posts to try and prove Walcott is good by default. Whichever you prefer.
  7. Eh... What are you on about? I can't remember the last time I made reference to Cedric. What?! Loads of people didn't rate Carrillo. 🤨 Yes, my concerns were largely based on his fitness, which continued to be an issue for his first season here when he didn't even make double figures in the scoring charts. I was wrong and we were right to sign him, so what? All my opinions are now void?
  8. 26 year old Danny Ings with a proven, albeit patchy scoring record. Not 31 year old Walcott who even when fit struggled to get into a mid table Everton side. TBF it also reminds me of the negativity when we signed Carrillo.
  9. Hopefully not, I really don't see what valuable techniques he could impart on them.
  10. 'Twitter' isn't a source. Who on twitter?
  11. It'd be nice but I wouldn't realistically expect a fee for Bouf. It'll either be a loan and he leaves on a Bosman next summer or we mutually agree to terminate his contract now so he can sign for someone else.
  12. I’m really not sure that’s a great yardstick. Coronavirus is better than AIDS, bubonic plague and a sledgehammer to the face. That in itself should raise a red flag.
  13. I’m not sure I follow, who’s paying £5m for Boufal?
  14. In the last 3 seasons he’s scored 2-5-3.
  15. Put me in the ‘against’ camp for this one. He did little for Everton, hence they don’t want him and I’m not sure how he fits in or what he offers.
  16. No, I think he’s actually coming on to you.
  17. Has put in two excellent back to back performances that’s for sure but we said similar when Morgan debuted for United. Too early to say really. Watkins could be this seasons Pukki/Mutu, Villa could be this season’s Hull (under Brown) etc.
  18. No, you need to imagine that as the art of debate is now lost. It seems everyone now needs to pigeon hole their opponent as either a wet, soppy, lefty, pinko liberal or a frothy mouthed, red faced, middle aged ‘gammon’ and nothing in between. Of course it usually involves a fair bit of mental gymnastics to make it fit but that’s the internet I suppose.
  19. Okay, this one I will assume is aimed at me. Strangely, you seem quick to point out how offended I am, when you are the one resorting to unnecessary swearing and sarcasm. I’m not sure how long you require me to watch something before passing judgement, needless to say if I didn’t have an open mind, I wouldn’t have bothered watching. I’ve lost interest in plenty of TV shows after much less than 2 episodes.
  20. Gives us options. Need a shielding player, bring on Rom. Need more energy, bring on Diallo. Armstrong injured, play JWP there and pick two from the other three in the middle.
  21. Williams would be odd to say the least. He wouldn’t come on loan just to sit on our bench and he’s no obvious improvement on either side of defence. I still think my Rom is leaving next summer and Diallo isn’t necessarily a starter every game theory has legs. With that flight from Liverpool (which could be anything TBF) and Grujic not in Liverpool’s squad today, it’s plausible although if I were a betting man it’d be on an AM.
  22. A £10 bet on West Ham to win 3-0 at Leicester, Southampton to win a home game, Man Utd to lose 6-1 and Liverpool to lose 7-2 would have got you... an immediate drugs test and CT scan.
  23. Well I thought it was implied by the phrase, 'bunch of f**king mugs' in response to a post (largely) agreeing with me.
  24. He needs to cut down on the pork life, get some exercise.
