Wish this woman on SSN would keep her head still. It’s like watching a woodpecker.

I can't believe anyone still defends Long, he's dreadful. His hold up play is awful, he can trap a ball into the Itchen (the river not the stand). He frequently miss-controls or is offside, immediately giving possession back to the opposition. His heading is awful. He can jump and get his head on a ball but what happens when it leaves his head is a complete lottery. Last header I remember him scoring was against West Brom 2 years ago. I'm afraid I have no recollection of excellent crosses. I think he set one up at Watford last season from out wide but that's about it.

Elyounoussi has pace?! When did this happen? That team would get battered. In Stephens’ absence, many people seem to have decided he is an improvement on Hoedt. He isn’t. Davis is never a holding midfielder and even in his preferred role he’s well past it.

He's right though. Reed was appointed a year before we were promoted from League 1 and for all the good Cortese did (and I'm willing to give both of them enormous credit) he was sacked long before Reed for mishandling the clubs finances. Rebuilding the squad in 2014 to be not only competitive but better for the next 2 years is a decent achievement and more impressive than simply spending our way out of League 1.

Gallagher's record in the Championship is 'patchy' at best. 6 goals for Brum, double figures at Blackburn and 0 at MK Dons IIRC. I've played against blokes who were 6'2" and lightning quick in my old Monday night 5-a-side league but you've got to be good enough to go with that.

Sims doesn't get into one of the worst teams in the Championship. Ralph may well get the best out of our players; Gabbiadini, Redmond, Yoshida, Bertrand, Cedric and Romeu, for example, haven't performed at their best for a while. Some players like Sims, JWP, Long and Austin just aren't good enough and no manager is going to change that.

If we were going to infract people for being unfunny, we'd be here all night.

I'm still here, so I'm not sure it's medically possible.

This. Not the Skates. This lot are so weak mentally, they’d make the 2005 bottle job at Fratton look like a picnic.

Lambert and Bridge have done it.

Whereas if you're just completely making sh*te up to look like some sort of big shot, money bags, grand-master of sports betting, to try and get attention from strangers on the internet; you're a bit sad and your life isn't changing either way.

Double yellow can't be rescinded, unless they've changed some rule I wasn't aware of.

Quite a sad reflection on our squad that I both think he is useless and agree with this statement. I'm not writing him off because of the dosen or so games he played for us (although he contributed pretty much nothing, even against Wigan). It's more the entire career averaging about 5 goals a season against French pub teams. The fact that he was straight out the door after MoPe was sacked (despite being our record signing 6 months earlier) probably shows you how much the club actually rate him.

That's Verthongen suspended then.
-
His lack of pace was painfully exposed for the first and he sold himself completely for the second. Stephens also needs to take responsibility for the second, stood like a statue as Herrera ran in front of him.
-
We aren't going to sack him until we can appoint a replacement and we aren't going to do that until we appoint a DoF.
-
If I had to bet on something, I'd say we'll be 1-1 after an hour and playing the better football, then Hughes brings on Austin and we just collapse.
-
We've all got Christmas presents to pay for and haven't beaten Utd at home since Beattie scored the winner in 2003. I've just got no inclination to spend £40 standing there on some p*ssing wet, cold, miserable evening, listening to all their kn*bhead fans from Fareham and Salisbury singing about how great they were in '99, whilst our players serve up another abject failure of a performance on the pitch.
-
Sadly he hasn't managed at anywhere near the level to give him the experience to apply to Saints, as much as I'd love to see it. Perhaps he can be part of a new coaching team in some capacity or an assistant to someone else.
-
If you do that we will take a comfortable 2-0 lead and Man Utd just wont show up. Then after 60 minutes we will miss an absolute sitter to make it 3-0 and within 5 minutes Man Utd will score, probably after the most blatant handball you'll have ever seen at a corner (coupled with some terrible marking). We then completely retreat into our own penalty box and Lukaku nets a tap in in injury time, for a 2-2 which helps neither side as the other 4 of the bottom 5 all win.
-
I don't think that performance will have done him many favours among Leicester fans.
-
Start of a tough run of fixtures, so luckily we've already got some points on the board and a nice, healthy gap to the drop zone. Whoever we put out is going to look unfit, badly motivated and lacking in confidence, so I'll just go with McC Valery - Yoshi - Vest - Bednarek - Bertrand Hoj - Lemina Armstrong O'Bafemi - Gabbi

It's all irrelevant at the mo, regarding Hughes. He will be sacked, as and when Les Reed's replacement is appointed and decides who he wants in charge. We aren't going to sack him and put Jaidi or Kelvin in charge for a month.

Well he didn't miss tonight, it was saved. It happens; at least he didn't: a) Miss b) Hit a knee high powder puff down the middle, like Austin did at Palace. Scored against Newcastle. Can't remember the Wigan and Man Utd pens.
