That’s not luck, it’s poor finishing from them, same as it is when we’re on the receiving end of these results. I think one more win, or 3 draws would see us safe. Any more than about 8 points for Cardiff is a big ask.
-
Brilliant win, gives us a free swing on Friday night. A point and a dent in Liverpools title challenge would be pretty awesome.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-47749265 This all sounds as legit as a £9 note.

He's got history...

Ings you can rule out as that is nothing to do with luck, more us being foolhardy signing a frequently injured player. I take your point but still feel Sala, Bamba and Patterson would have made more impact on their team than Lemina and Bertrand on ours. The former we can pretty much live without at the moment, with 4 decent CM options still to chose from. Plus the timing is worse IMO. You wouldn’t want to be relying on those players and then losing them at crunch time in the run in.
-
Between this, Bamba and Sala, you can't say we haven't had luck on our side with the run in this season. I know we've had our own issues with RB, Lemina and Ings but I think Cardiff have been hit a bit harder by the players and the timing.
-
Without checking, I’d say Sims has played more minutes for us than Moi.
-
TBF Ings can't play for 2 weeks after most games.
-
Mainly because that's what it takes to get into the England team.
-
As much as we all love Le Tiss, he doesn't half get involved in some tripe on twitter. The amount of crap from trolls he responds to, I'm tempted to unfollow him. P.S. For the purposes of this thread, I'm including Eastleigh as defecting.

Actually a lot of people have considered that. Only in the mysterious world of alpine and a handful of others have we sold a player who would have scored 20 goals for Saints this season. Some people have said the same about Jay Rod and (bizarrely) Juanmi in recent years.
-
Shaqiri, Lallana and Keita struggle to get into that team. JWP would get nowhere near it.
-
That would be crap like Rice who has been consistently excellent this season and not just quite good for a couple of months? JWP must leave Saints but somehow Rice gets picked for England despite 'only' playing for West Ham? This is the poor England team who've just scored 9 goals in 2 competitive games?
-
Long can’t score a few goals in a season, let alone a few weeks.
-
That's not the case though, or at least according to the facts which have been presented so far. He was a Cardiff player, making a visit back to Nantes to collect stuff and visit friends.
-
Obviously not, which is why I get annoyed by people posting "look at what these stupid leave/remainers did/said," on social media. The truth is that however you voted, you've aligned yourself with a few thousand pedophiles, murderers and who knows what else, so in that context the murder of Jo Cox doesn't particularly mean anything.
-
I think you're slightly underselling a neo-Nazi, white supremacist, delinquent, who I doubt has the support of the leave campaign. You're right, it will be taken more seriously and no doubt the OB will pay a few people a visit. Most of them will probably be 14 year olds who start blubbing when their mummy shouts at them. If anyone genuinely wanted to harm somebody on the opposite side of the argument, they've had more than enough chances already.

Hardly surprising, this is 2019 where keyboard warriors are threatening to kill people over X-Factoe results.
-
Strength of character? They print some tripe in the Sun granted but unless I’ve missed something, nothing resembling racism from England fans. There was that nutter at the training ground but that’s just one bloke. Back to JWP, I can’t see him getting much game time unless there are injuries. He’s been decent for us but isn’t good enough for England, given our other options.
-
Out of 6 goals for JWP, there were at least two free kicks and one penalty, none of which he will get to take for England. If he can play like he has recently for a whole season, he might push his way into Southgate’s plans. Until then he is just another Jeffers, Nugent or Ricketts, having his 15 mins in the sunshine.
-
For us he tends to be the 3rd furthest forward, behind Redmond and whichever gimp we’ve got playing up front for any given fixture. He doesn’t offer the back four the same protection that England’s other options do.
-
He's 24 and this is the first time he has consistently looked half decent. He is nowhere near Alli, Sterling, Sancho or CHO and wont be in the team any time soon.
-
I’m not sure why people would expect something different, Southgate didn’t even want him in the squad. He’s had a couple of months of good football, in a team fighting relegation. That’s all.
-
No, he managed to look lost in a 6-0 win at MK Dons.
