Fox, Hooiveld, Kelvin, Sharp, Hammond, Guly, De Ridder, Richardson and Chaplow were all regulars in a top Championship team. None were Premier League standard. Just playing regularly doesn’t make them good enough on its own, more it gives them a chance to develop and gain experience. My mate with a Reading ST has been pretty impressed with Sims so far, so fingers crossed he can progress.

He once scored 8 in about 6 months under Koeman. I think that’s probably as good as it gets.

You can incredibly ordinary and still end up in the top half, as Leicester are right now. Wolves haven't been anything amazing, just better organised than we are. We've played well enough in patches against Brighton, Leicester, Palace and Burnley, we just can't do it for 90 minutes and usually bottle it in injury time.

Swansea also beat Liverpool in the reverse fixture, whereas we played for a nice safe 2-0 defeat at home. Without that win, they'd have been relegated when we played them at the Liberty. Even a point in one game and a minus infinity goal difference is better than a couple of 3-0 defeats. That's three games in a row now against them where we've not even tried to compete. Keeping the GD down seems to be seen as an achievement by some, it's pathetic.

Id sell JWP as I've no idea what he offers other than fairly good set piece delivery. Otherwise he is largely just a passenger who doesn't fit into any of the formations we've tried and I've no idea what his position is supposed to be. A game of football. Why are so many talking as if keeping the score down is some sort of achievement. We all but snatched a draw at the Etihad last season and somebody will stop Liverpool eventually. Imagine if Lyon went to Man City last night saying, 'lets try and keep it below 3-0'. Last season we just sat back and took a nice 'safe' 2-0/3-0 defeat in both games, it was pathetic.
