Phew, was getting dizzy there for a minute.

Only 2 defeats since promotion and one of them was a pretty good performance just after Poch took over. Weirdly, it’s much better than our home record, no wins since promotion.

I was going to post something about your hilarious first paragraph but I actually find myself agreeing with this BIB. It is an international enterprise and if we could set up an international trial and indeed prison, the cost for which is shared internationally, it's probably the most humane and fair option. Would be a good place to send the Choudarys of this world, where they can't recruit other inmates. -
I'd forgotten about Lemina.
-
I wouldn't be so sure about that. If this comes down to involuntary manslaughter, it's not as easy to sweep under the rug as some dodgy agents fees for African players in Ligue Un.
-
Jeff, you weren't wrong. This place is nuts.
-
I'd go with the same team as Fulham but with Armstrong in for Austin.
-
Seems to think they're going to improve from 0.89ppg over the season to 1.2ppg in the last 10 games, with a disproportionate number of fixtures against the top 6. They're terrible travelers and only have 1 home game left against teams in the bottom half. If they drew their next 2, that leaves us level with a better GD. They then have to outscore us with 4/8 games against the top 6, whilst we only have Liverpool in our last 8.
-
I'd have said 7 or 8 was fairly optimistic for Cardiff. Beating West Ham and Palace at home (fixtures we got 1 point from), with another point at Fulham and Burnley. I'll stake my claim on them getting 33 points and come back to this post in May. Wouldn't like to guess where we end up relative to that but I would 100% take our run in over theirs.

I really can't be arsed with that one Verbal, just a couple of points. You said yourself "Her imprisonment was appalling" (that's her LEGAL imprisonment by the state) but apparently I'm the one who's ignorant and racist for mistaking a lawyer with two politicians who defended her. By the way, this is the funeral of Mumtaz Qadri. The man who murdered one of the politicians who defended Asia Bibi Just a small handful of extremists, nothing to worry about. I saw a similar gathering of people on Above Bar St, gathering in support of Begum. You're right, it's basically the same. If you want to make a defence for countries which have the death penalty for 'crimes' such as homophobia and blasphemy (I never said they execute gays in Pakistan, I was talking about a SAUDI prince. SAUDI) then so be it. I personally think there might be a link to some of these attitudes and ISIS. Not sure what point you're making re: Berlusconi. He isn't an avatar but assuming Italian elections are free and fair, it would seem his politics has a significant support. -

I’m suggesting there may be a link between countries which have widespread homophobia, sexual abuse against teenage girls and a violent persecution of all who denounce Islam and a a fanatical Islamist group which throws gays off buildings, forces teenage girls to be their sex slaves and murders all who oppose Islam. ISIS ideology came from somewhere and I doubt it was small villages in Cornwall. As for the Brexit thread, I volunteer enough of my time trying to keep the nutters under control on the main board, so that we can all talk about Saints without trolling. I have neither the time nor the desire to wade through the Brexit thread. Unless you want to volunteer to mod (speak to Baj or Steve) you will have to take it as it is. -

So sexual abuse of teenage girls, violent homophobia and murderous persecution of anyone who contradicts your religion are okay, because they're "just some small part of their culture" Perhaps we should all vote BNP at the next election. The hatred of blacks and foreigners is just a small part of their manifesto, they've actually got some excellent policies on transport and healthcare. -

You can be glib if you want, although I'm sure life in those countries is far from pleasant for homosexuals. Well, there was the Saudi Prince murdered his servant in London and had to fight extradition to Saudi Arabia, because he would be executed for having sex with him. Then there's the woman just released from prison in Pakistan, who fled the country in fear of her life because she was accused of blasphemy. Then there was her lawyer who was murdered for simply offering her a fair defence and his killer who was hailed as a national hero. Then there're the Iranian missiles with "Death to Israel, kill all infidels" written on the side. Then there's the 13 year old Women being forced to cover up their hair and skin and basically being treated as subordinate baby factories by their husbands and fathers. Any of this maybe sound a little bit ISIS'y? It's 2019 and this is The Life of Brian being played out in real life. -
I've corrected your grammar.

Went to the bookies before KO and stuck £150 each on Saints at 9/1, Fulham at 17/2 and the draw at 23/2, I'll let you know how it goes.

It's not the fault of any nation, other than the ones which publicly support and enforce this particular brand of Islam. Have a quick check of the countries where being gay is a capital offence, I pretty much blame any of them for this. -
Saints - I'm not going. You're not having a penny of my money. I fully expect you to lose and get relegated. Go ahead, do your worst!!!

No, I just fail to see how this is Britain’s fault. Especially when there will be similar cases in many countries around the world where extremists have left to fight for ISIS. What you call ‘proper monitoring’ is the kind of stuff which makes people put tin foil hats on and hang coat-hangers from the ceiling. The only way to catch everyone is to have the government monitoring everyone’s phone calls, WhatsApp, voice mail, email, microphones in the mosques, school yards, CCTV on every street, etc. There are 2.8 million Muslims in the UK. We can’t monitor all of them 24/7 for signs of extremist indoctrination and nor should we. There is always the same public reaction whenever we have a terrorist attack, paedophile abduction or serial killer; why didn’t the government stop this. Well, if we want to all live in some sort of conspiracy theory, cyber nanny state from a Jason Bourne film... -

What is it specifically that you think Britain did wrong, which lead to Islamic extremism? -
No we didn't, they were crap. They only scored because we were hopeless defending a corner, allowing them an unchallenged knock down and tap in, followed by Stephens calmly passing them the ball in acres of space in our own half.

Looks like it's time for the "relegation price 2019" thread.

We will draw against Fulham, lose our last 10 games and stay up. -
Not that any of it bothers me but I don't get the whole non-binary, pan sexual thing and how it's different from being bi, really.
-
I’d personally take our fixtures. If we can stay within touch of Cardiff after the Spurs game, we’ve got a decent chance. If we call the top 6 untouchable for both teams; 6 of our last 7 are winnable but only 3 of Cardiff’s are. It’s going to be tedious, painful sh*te for both sets of fans but I just about fancy us over them. 1-5 at home to Watford is far worse than anything we’ve done.

The onboard footage starts about 0:40 On the top surface of the wing, you will see the flight spoiler raising and lowering. This happens when the pilot applies aileron input (for rolling the plane) beyond a certain amount. On the left wing, this deflects upwards when the pilot is rolling left. If the pilot was attempting to counter turbulence I would expect to see the pilot (i.e. the controls surfaces) rolling left, to counter the turbulence rolling to the right. In other words, when the left wing is raised in this video, I would expect to see the spoiler raise up to counter it. This isn't the case and the aircraft seems to be responding normally to pilot inputs. Why is a different question. I wouldn't want to slag the pilot off without knowing the full circumstances but it does look like he is responding very slowly to the turbulence and just making the situation worse. I've seen it done, by a guy who thought he was the bees knees but was actually a bit of a helmet. Made an absolute dogs dinner of light turbulence on approach and was talking afterwards as if we'd just flown through a hurricane. I wouldn't be worried, it's seldom dangerous, unless you happen to be the upholstery in the cabin.
