For some reason the thread title reminds me of hunting wild deer.

I saw a bloke in a pink dress and a blonde wig on his stag do the other night. What an insensitive, sexist pr*ck, does he not know all the painstaking work the Suffragettes went through in the name of women's rights. FWIW I do know the history behind blackface mocking African American's as cheerful simpletons, however this is quite obviously not the case here. Ludicrous that people were offended.

West Brom look hopeless. We were boring against Utd but the Baggies look incapable of even providing boredom. I wonder if Jay Rod's gobsh*te dad/brother are still mouthing off on social media about how he isn't playing.

With relegation almost a certainty, who stays and who goes?

None of the promoted sides are anything to write home about and unlike us, I wouldn't say there was unlocked potential in any of their squads. Stoke are sh*te, Bournemouth are nothing amazing and even in spite of their recent good form, I wouldn't say Palace or West Ham are home and dry. Even Watford are in freefall at the moment. -
Claude’s coaching being incredibly negative, play for a 0-0 at home to Hull, Stoke and Bournemouth, defensive football. We can get along just fine without Virgil, it’s all about who replaces him and who the manager is.

He did enough in his first games here to show his class in terms of movement and finishing (the West Ham goal on his debut and the second in the cup final were belters). Actually I think the Saganowski analogy is pretty apt as there is clearly a decent player in there, he just looks hopeless in a team which is disorganized, unmotivated and features a new formation with 5 different players every game. He'd be cracking in the Leicester team that won the title, playing on the counter with two up front. The number of times I've seen him make a great run, only for Redmond or Tadic to play it tamely sideways/backwards to Romeu, then Yoshida and back to the 'keeper. If we played with any sort of tempo and purpose, Gabbi would be banging them in but we don't. Austin suits or play better because he can loiter in the box and stand there having a fag for 10 minutes before we finally put a cross in. It's typical bottom half football, just lump it into the box at Andy Johnson or Grant Holt and see what happens. -
I'm assuming this is your first interaction with Dalek.

Hudders next weekend looking like a nice easy walkover.

Our centre halves for the last 10 games. He's kept it the same once; the Everton game, which we won. Yoshi - Hoedt - Stephens Yoshi - Virgil Yoshi - Virgil - Stephens Hoedt - Virgil Hoedt - Virgil - Yoshi Hoedt - Virgil Hoedt - Virgil Yoshi - Virgil Hoedt - Virgil Yoshi - Virgil

Just not make 4/5 changes every game, playing different formations and putting in awful performances. If he had a decent system and had just rotated Austin out for Gabbi then fair enough.
-
He needed to change something but you just get the impression he doesn't have a clue what team to put out some times. Changes for changes sake in some cases.

We're going to drop our shorts, bend over and take it hard up the Marmite mine, with no lube.

Do we have to...

I seem to have missed this. Got any links for a report on any particular incident?

Mother Superior approves!

Not really, if MoPe had us where Burnley are now, you wouldn't be longing for the days of playing for a 0-0 against Be'er Sheva and Hull.
-
To be fair, Long has always struggled with that.

Newcastle are worse and Brighton not much better. What's daft is that none of them are in the bottom four and as bad as Saints and Everton have been, we're 10th and 11th. Just goes to show how sh*te the League is outside the traditional top 6. Burnley are having a great half a season but beyond that there's just 13 teams of (at best) mediocrity.

Wonder how many Palace fans left early.

JM default setting. Ignore the fact that your massively expensive team just got played off (their own) park and focus entirely on (not a) penalty.
-
I'd take a guess at JS being employed at RB. Can't think of another reason he gets the nod over Hoot.

Vardy was playing non-League football, whilst Sharp was banging them in in the Championship. When Vardy was signed up by Leicester he scored 5 goals in his first season in the Championship, compared to Sharp getting 9 in half a season for us. Chances are Vardy would have scored a lot less than Sharp and the points dropped would have put us behind West Ham in the table.
-
and that they haven't scored in their last 6 home games.
-
I would say in all our home games bar Burnley, Leicester, Sparta, Liverpool in the cup and the second half against Inter, that wasn't the case. I can't see any case for us treating him badly either. He was brought in well before the season started, given a good squad of players and we perceived with him through a whole season. This wasn't some knee-jerk sacking after 10 games of a bloke trying to manage a hopeless squad like Hull or Sunderland.

Won League 1 during his tenure. Would have won the Champ were it not for some inexplicable refereeing at Boro. Lard is a plank
