  1. Agree. Looks like a f**king good welder to me.
  2. Sparta Prague, Dynamo Kiev, Utrecht and Qarabag are all playing preseason games in Austria in July, along with some Romanian team called Botoshani. Could be possible opponents.
  3. If people think Corbyn is somehow going to produce millions of cheap houses overnight, they really are deluded. It's supply and demand, I'm not sure why you'd think it was anything to do with the Torries. Young people have to rent rooms and share houses, you'd be deluded to think otherwise. I was in exactly the same boat until very recently; young, earning a very decent wage and living in a tiny one bedroom flat in Bristol. At what age do you think people should be able to buy a home?
  4. This is what I'm afraid of. Jack for Gardos I'm more than happy with but for me this is too much of a drop in quality and experience. If we get a couple of injures, would you really be happy with JS and JB playing together? Even as back up that's far too weak.
  5. If JS and this bloke are the long term replacements for Fonte and Gardos I'm a bit disappoint TBH. Not saying Bednarek doesn't have potential as I've only seen his U21 game but I don't want half our CBs being kids next season.
  6. Well of course not, that's an audience of almost entirely labour voters.
  7. I'm not sure that's actually a phrase.
  8. You take a gamble every time you buy a Ginsters pasty. It's part of life, no manager would be risk free.
  9. What about Germany, Italy, Japan and the Balkans.
  10. To each their own but I go to football to watch games, not so I can get all moist over numbers in a league table. The season before last wasn't exciting because we finished 6th, it was exciting because we beat Arsenal 4-0, City 4-2, Chelsea 3-1, Liverpool 3-2 (from 2-0 down in the last minute), won at Old Trafford in the last minute. Even with the crappy defeats at Burnley, Norwich and Palace I'd still take that over winning the Championship.
  11. No, the decision to apoint whoever it is we appoint will have failed spectacularly. Sacking Puel is, and always will be, the correct decision.
  12. Neville Chamberlain?
  13. Yes, depending on which war soggy is referring to; I assume he means operation Iraqi Freedom, not Desert Storm. Whether that war was justified is another subject and has been done to death but there is a clear moral difference between civilians being caught in crossfire and blowing yourself up at a pop concert full of teenage girls.
  14. Sounds like the Maginot line to me. I also wonder how effective NK troops would be in combat. Despite their pathological obsession with conformity and obedience, have any of their armed forced seen actual combat? They've not actually fought anyone for over 60 years, how effective will an inexperienced, half starved army of borderline slaves actually be when a Tommahawk take out 90% of their comms and radar stations.
  15. We don't need a 4th CB, we need a first one; Virgil, Yoshi, Chambers and Stephens is not enough. Yoshida and Stephens have stepped up admirably but even playing incredibly negative, safe football we shipped goals. We need someone who can come in and be a strong partner for Virgil (on the of chance he does stay) right from the off.
  16. Just go on http://www.flightradar24.com and keep an eye on Eastleigh, much easier. Also, need a guy at the National Express coach station.
  17. That is an interesting question too. If the US can launch an effective first strike against their comms and ballistic missile sites, they can probably limit the damage to South Korean civilians. I can't imagine any of their ancient Soviet jets getting close to an F22, even if they did make it off the ground. Perhaps I'm underestimating the enemy here but even with their manic obsession with the military, I can't imagine it being any more of a problem than Desert Storm was. Surely better now that waiting for them to build a functioning nuclear warhead.
  18. So every news outlet going has reported it being sorted by the end of the week and now it's been narrowed down to possibly Wednesday or Thursday but probably by Friday. Thank f**k for ITKs
  19. Maybe I'm being massively naive here but supposing this did lead to war, which you would assume the US wins eventually. Where would that leave the country post war? Could it be unified? Would the Chinese tollerate it on the condition that all US troops eventually left the peninsula (including the South). Would the population welcome a united Korea and see the US a liberators, or remain hostile? How much of the population has been completely brainwashed and how many are just living silently in terror?
  20. Laugh my tits off if Liverpool bought him TBH.
  21. He was never going to trouble Fonte, Virgil and Cedric for regular football. What would be the point in leaving Arsenal's bench to sit on ours?
  22. Agreed, if a club is unable to provide an adequate stadium they should have to arrange a suitable alternative at their own expense, as I assume Spurs are with Wembley. Most fans are annoyed at them getting a free stadium from the tax payer but this stinks of having your cake and eating it to me. Like a bloke catching you in bed with his wife and asking him for a lift home.
  23. Don't see the point in having Chambers back. He wouldn't get in at CB as we have 3 better options already and we're still after one more to replace Fonte (I hope). He's not as good as Cedric and even in today's market I wouldn't spend anywhere near £20m on a reserve RB when Pied looks, if nothing else, adequate. Don't we already have enough CM who work hard but lack pace, physicality and creativity. What's he going to do that Classie or Hojbjerg can't?
  24. We still might have found some decent investment, eventually. Don't forget when we went down Spurs and Man City were mid table rivals for a few years. If nothing else we might have held on to Bale and Walcott a bit longer and have a bit more money from them.
  25. That was a military operation, there was never any intention to harm civilians.
