Don't have a problem with people wanting to leave early, especially if you're sat in the higher reaches of the stadium. I'm normally 4 or 5 rows from the back in the Northam and I tend to find myself sat in my seat until 10 minutes after f/t waiting just to be able to get to an aisle. Then when I get out it's a similar wait at that sodding railway bridge just to get onto the main road to the station. I reckon if you leave on 85 minutes, you'd get to the station half an hour earlier than if you waited till the end in one of the higher rows. If you're driving you can probably lose another 20 minutes sat in traffic too. Probably worth it for a lot of people, for the sake of 5 minutes plus injury time.

Depends whether he would rather have self respect or a multi-million pound payoff for 6 months of work.

Got to wonder how long Coutinho will stick around Anfield without Champs League football.

I think you're underestimating Saints a little if you think we will struggle to get even a point. Arsenal haven't won here in their last 4 attempts. Spurs are definitely a bogey side but records are there to be broken. They lost every game here right up until our relegation. I'll take a punt at: Stoke - Win Man City - Loss Villa - Win Palace - Draw Spurs - Win Arsenal Draw
-
Really don't see why we can't get a draw at least against either of those teams at St Mary's. Arsenal especially are inconsistent, beating Bayern one week, then getting spanked in the reverse fixture. I'm not saying we're as good as Bayern but Arsenal have been beaten by West Ham, Zagreb, Olympiakos and Chelsea this year. That's 4 pretty average sides. Spurs haven't done anything particularly special other than beating an out of sorts Man City team. They've draw with Stoke, Everton, Leicester and Swansea so hardly ripping the league apart.

10 points in fixtures we only took 4 from last season (3 of those from SJP). Not counting Watford of course.

Against a long ball team? I suspect Koeman wanted a bit more height in defence, it's not the first time he's done this.
-
That seemed to be the general consensus. Speaking of England games at St Mary's, Alan Smith is also playing for Notts Co. Salford have just taken the lead.
-
Remember Martin O'Neil b*tching when we took Stephen O'Halloran on loan and didn't play him. Well he's currently playing for Salford City on BBC2.

It's Glasgow. You can figure the rest out.

In which case I'd probably drop Davis, put JWP on the right, Mané in the #10 and Tadic wide left. I don't think there's any real creativity in that side, especially if they sit deep and don't allow Mané space to run in to.

If Townsend hasn't been misquoted and that is indeed what he said then he is a plank. QPR and 'Udders were 13th an 18th respectively, plenty of white managers have been sacked for far better results than that. You've got to pick the right fights in life and if Troy starts making a fuss out of this, people will be less inclined to take him seriously when he has a genuine grievance.

In a bizarre move, Russia has now banned 737s from operating in their airspace. http://avherald.com/h?article=48ee3567&opt=0&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter The fact that Aeroflot uses Airbus aircraft and Ukraine International uses 737s is nothing to do with this I'm sure.

I'm genuinely not sure if this is a joke.

Are you suggesting that a League Cup win in 1987 is somehow not significant?

Just how good would we be if Gardos was fit?

Perhaps you should change your name to 'High Saint'.

Footballers have bad teeth and it seriously effects the way they train
Lighthouse replied to Saint86's topic in The Saints
It's a popular stereotype in the US that Brits all have bad teeth and they kind of have a point. The number of people I've seen with a mouth like a vandalised graveyard is disturbing. I'm not sure if it's poor diet, poor personal hygiene, a lack of dental care or combination thereof. -
Can't remember the name of a surreal comedy, help please?

Speak for yourself. All this talk of y'all, Gas and color has me completely convinced. Howdy George, you have yourself a swell day.

I'd forgotten about that one. Just looked at the team we played that night; Davis, Chambers, Yoshi, Hooiveld, Fox, Davis, Cork, Gaston, Reed, Lee J Rod. I think it's fair to say we gained a bit of depth since then.

Our last win up there, that's our overall form. A bit confusing, point taken. Our visits to Sunderland since then. 06/07 - 1-1 Playoff season, in which Sunderland went on to win the Championship. Bale gets a last minute equaliser. 12/13 - 1-1 Puncheon gets a late equaliser to secure our safety in the Premier League. 13/14 - 2-2 Saints throw away a 2-0 lead earned by J Rod and Lovren 13/14 - 1-0 Cup defeat. Saints are terrible. 14/15 - 2-1 defeat. Having not conceded a pen all season, we let in 2. JWP is sent off.
