  1. Meanwhile in France... 39 - Yarmolenko is sent off for Dynamo Kiev 41 - Younes Belhanda replaces the injured Sergei Sydorchuk 44 - Younes Belhanda is sent off for Dynamo Kiev
  2. Have I got my speakers calibrated wrong or is there no atmosphere at all tonight at Anfield? The only songs I can hear are in Turkish.
  3. Fair enough, I guess if the Mail are running the story it's something everyone can get sensationalist about. Of course UKIP attracts a lot of racist scum bags but that doesn't invalidate other people's support for them. People may well have perfectly legitimate reasons to support them, doesn't make them a "traveller with racists". Playing devil's advocate but supposing you found out a large gang of violent white supremacists, who had murdered several black and Jewish people, supported Saints; would you then stop supporting Saints so as to disassociate yourself from them?
  4. I'm also no particular fan of UKIP but describing them as a 'racist party' is a bit far IMO. Having right wing views on immigration control is a long way removed from wanting all the blacks and Jews deported. To me it just seems like a cheap dig from a predominantly left wing, Labour supporting news paper. I doubt they would be running a story if he had some instagram photos proclaiming is love of Monster Munch or landscape gardening.
  5. Krispy Kreme apologises for 'KKK Doughnut' event in Hull http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation-now/2015/02/17/krispy-kreme-kkk-event-apology/23551235/
  6. I highly doubt it was even that many. As I said, there are about 4 blokes stood in the doorway and I've not seen any evidence it was more than that involved at all.
  7. To be fair it looks like about 3 or 4 Chelsea fans. It's hardly comparable to some of the stuff you see in places like Italy or the Balkans.
  8. As long as we don't play Galaxy. The last thing we need is Gerrard tapping up our players again.
  9. It's Jon Hamm, he's starting to show his age.
  10. I'm intrigued, as we seldom get ladies hanging around here and when we do they usually turn out to be Bearsy in a wig. I'd guess she looks something like former Downing Street WAG Norma Major, although that's more hope than expectation.
  11. I was surprised at the number of beggars I saw hanging around Stockholm. Partly because it's in one of the most socially advanced countries in the world and partly because it's fkin freezing in winter.
  12. Probably a couple of U-boats lurking around there who haven't realised the war is over. Just waiting for orders.
  13. No, they're both for you mate. The one on the left used to be on the game to be sure to use protection.
  14. You didn't seem to mind when I brought her round your house for NYE. Infact you were positively leering at her after 6 pints (I refer you to Lord Duckhunter's post above). Anyway, after your revelation that you prefer blondes, I've managed to hook you up with these two ladies. I only hope Bletch will show them a little more respect.
  15. It's probably not as painful as a Karcher pressure washer and it's the most effective way to get the mould off your grouting.
  16. Would you call these leggings or tights? Either way, I probably would.
  17. This thread needs more pics of fit girls in leggings IMO Phwooooah!
  18. Planes are old hat. I think we should hire a submarine to tow a banner up the Itchen. That'll learn them.
  19. To be fair, they probably aren't leggings, infact they were probably described as 'baggy' when she bought them.
  20. For the gym, running etc. they are acceptable but probably a bit too revealing as casual outwear. Depends how much of your body you want to show off. I can't imagine they are any more comfortable than jeans or a skirt so the only reason I can think of to wear them casually is because you want men to look at your arse and/or camel toe.
  21. FWIW I bought a 2 year old Lotus for 2/3 the price of a brand new car in that spec. 14,000 on the clock. Still had a year's warranty (which is always handy when you've got a car built buy Lotus). I doubt I'd ever buy a brand new car unless my first name was Sheikh. I'm not saying I made the right choice, just my $0.02
  22. XXX-Ray
  23. If you are taking a uni course which costs £50k and getting a career average of £35k a year, you are doing something badly wrong. A half decent doctor, lawyer, accountant etc. should be earning double that by the time they are 40.
  24. I think we've missed a trick installing the LEDs, if you get the right bulbs you can get them to change colour. I think some kind of flashing light display, choreographed to the right music with red and white light could be quite cool before an evening kick off. Maybe then during the match the pitch could be lit up white and the crowd in red. Would look kind of cool I think.
  25. I largely agree with the second paragraph and I'd be all for concessions on courses which involved important research in fields like medicine or science. I think the debt is something everyone should have to think about. Afterall, what you are basically doing is asking the tax payer to fund your education. Perhaps if people had to ask for the money face to face, perceptions would change. If you made a prospective university student stand in front of a mixed audience from all aspects of society and say, "I want you to lend me money because..." it might put into perspective what they are asking. I'm not suggesting this as a practical solution but it's something everyone should consider.
