Le Tiss going for 3-1 Saints on SS. Good lad.

Since BBB has just nicked my first choice.

The being facebook friends or the raving?
-
Not really if I'm honnest. Had a brilliant 2 minutes against MKD but the rest of his time, even at that level, was completely forgetable.
-
He accused one of our resident mods of being Brett Ormerod in the same game. For that reason alone, he is awesome.
-
Spends most of his time raving I believe. One of my more random friends on Bacefook.
-
No idea why people love to hate him so much. He really hasn't been any worse than some players who have had regular game time. One of those players who comes on for 20 minutes at the end of a game and is no worse than anyone else, yet people on here talk about him as being by far our worst player because he didn't turn the game around on his own. I haven't seen anything more from say Mayuka this season, yet everyone is insistant he just needs more time and will come good. Double standards. Hopefully he gets some decent game time (which he has never had here) and proves him worth. Maybe he will come back afterwards and prove a few people wrong.

Yes but I can't remember much about it. Did like it though. Part of my criteria is now going to a resort with a Folie Douce. Admittedly that's only The 3 Valleys and Espace Killy at the moment but anyone who has every been to one of their mid afternoon mountain parties will probably know what I mean.

That's not all that much of an ask when you're worth £160m. Short of buying his own Formula 1 team or aircraft carrier, Beckham has more cash than he could probably spend in 2 lifetimes. Giving away his salary for a 5 month contract at PSG, whilst commendable, isn't really all that special.

Would you take a point at Wigan if offered now?
Lighthouse replied to 110_Persaint's topic in The Saints
I thought you were being serious until I got to this bit. I wouldn't take a point now, I would be happy enough if that was the result but I think this game is winnable. -
'Arry on SSN talking about the Samba deal. "I don't know nuffink abaaaaat the money, naaah guv, nuffink to do wiv me guv, I don't know nuffink abaat that. All the chairman"
-
In your previous post you implied people with a different opinion suffered from Down's Syndrome, yet you are not claiming to be more intelligent than they are. I believe the bit in bold when you can find proof of people saying, "We need to sign someone, anyone I don't care how good or bad they are." As in a credible post not one of our resident forum lunatics or some sad muppet trying to be funny.
-
Which isn't unreasonable. However there is a large difference between wanting to sign players with Premier League experience and going down the QPR/Redknapp route of players like Samba for £12m on £100kpw. KRG is suggesting people just want to sign players for the sake of it, which is clearly not that case.

Who we've been linked with for January thread...
Lighthouse replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Not as good as a rumour someone made up about Pompey last year. Some idiot on twitter was claiming they had signed a player called Must-have-a Dumb-buyer. Can you believe that. -
Claiming to be more intelligent than other posters is one thing. You've taken it one step further and invented some ficticious posters to take the moral high ground over. NOBODY wants us to sign old has beens on ridiculous contracts like QPR have been doing. NOBODY is saying we should sign any old LB/CB/GK/AM or whatever out of desperation. NOBODY. My personal thoughts are that another AM would be good if the right player is available at the right price but we aren't desperate. I think we are more likely to see a couple of players leave, probably on loan. Depending on who goes we might need to find a replacement. Fox for example would need replacing as Shaw is the only other LB on the books. Chaplow not so much as I can't see him getting in the team anyway with 4 decent central midfielders already here. GK I think we will be alright until summer. Maybe a loan out for Gazza.
-
It's a must not lose match as much as anything. Just don't give away any ground to the teams below us and we should be okay, same as when we go to Reading and possibly Newcastle. Having said that, this game is very winnable. Would be tempted to start with Lallana if fit and Shaw too.
-
I might be up for that. Wasn't going to go as I was on my own and it's a lot of petrol for one person. Don't have a ticket obviously either. Will know for definite if I can go tomorrow evening.
-
I work at SOU and have just seen Chappers boarding a flight to LBA. Had all his training kit with him too. Sorry to see him go, good look fellar.
-
In the easiest fixture they will get all season. Still doesn't mean they are anything close to being safe.
-
Weren't Newcastle too good to go down in 2009? I don't see how you can call a team below us who have just lost their best player, 'safe.' You can't really rule out anyone in the bottom half. IF results stay like this and IF we were to beat Everton, we would be level with Fulham and a point behind Norwich and Wham.
-
Get your wallets out and empty it all on an Everton win. If I was one of our players I'd be gutted and not the least bit focussed on this game now.
-
F**k you Cortese!! F**king ridiculous.
-
Whilst we're waiting for Forren to sign, how about some foreign signs?

Olly Lancashire's shock tweet about Southampton Football Club
Lighthouse replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Rasiak left about a month into the season, Saganowski left in January I think.
