  1. Why do people try and support their argument by pretending to be too be really thick? You know what I mean. We battered them. No we didn't get the points but we were by far the better team. Answer me this. How many Wigan fans will be walking home from that game thinking, "well Southampton are defintely going down."? If we had been hopelessly outplayed at home to a team like West Ham or Norwich and scraped a draw, would YOU be saying, "West Ham are definitely going down."?
  2. To be fair he has looked decent at home (when he plays in the middle) but we shouldn't start him away from home. Sadly we will. If MP left our big money signing on the bench he'd be right behind Adkins on the M3 Northbound. He is young and tallented. He might not come good this season but let's give him time.
  3. Yes. We are going down. Not the team 3 points below us who we've just spanked in their own back yard. Don't be such an old woman. We should have won this game, we shouldn't have won at Villa. Swings and roundabouts, that's still 4 points away to the teams below us in the last couple of weeks. Keep picking up the draws away from home and get a couple of decent wins and we will be fine. Wigan will not overtake us playing like that. Newcastle and Reading results were a bit of a bummer but there is nothing we can do about that. We played well, we got mugged. I still think we will stay up.
  4. We can win this, Wigan really aren't anything to write home about.
  5. Can see why these 2 teams are at the bottom.
  6. He's not, unless he has travelled up with the squad but not included in the matchday 18 but he won't be playing today.
  7. Lets just hope Reading and Villa have "scored too early" like we did at OT. Oh and the Skates are level.
  8. Hahaha! Pompey 1-0 down already.
  9. Feck off Everton.
  10. IF we can win today we go within 2 points of Norwich with a better GD. I'd like to keep them within reach if possible, they aren't safe yet.
  11. Perfect result for Saints.
  12. Le Tiss going for 3-1 Saints on SS. Good lad.
  13. Since BBB has just nicked my first choice.
  14. The being facebook friends or the raving?
  15. Not really if I'm honnest. Had a brilliant 2 minutes against MKD but the rest of his time, even at that level, was completely forgetable.
  16. He accused one of our resident mods of being Brett Ormerod in the same game. For that reason alone, he is awesome.
  17. Spends most of his time raving I believe. One of my more random friends on Bacefook.
  18. No idea why people love to hate him so much. He really hasn't been any worse than some players who have had regular game time. One of those players who comes on for 20 minutes at the end of a game and is no worse than anyone else, yet people on here talk about him as being by far our worst player because he didn't turn the game around on his own. I haven't seen anything more from say Mayuka this season, yet everyone is insistant he just needs more time and will come good. Double standards. Hopefully he gets some decent game time (which he has never had here) and proves him worth. Maybe he will come back afterwards and prove a few people wrong.
  19. Yes but I can't remember much about it. Did like it though. Part of my criteria is now going to a resort with a Folie Douce. Admittedly that's only The 3 Valleys and Espace Killy at the moment but anyone who has every been to one of their mid afternoon mountain parties will probably know what I mean.
  20. That's not all that much of an ask when you're worth £160m. Short of buying his own Formula 1 team or aircraft carrier, Beckham has more cash than he could probably spend in 2 lifetimes. Giving away his salary for a 5 month contract at PSG, whilst commendable, isn't really all that special.
  21. I thought you were being serious until I got to this bit. I wouldn't take a point now, I would be happy enough if that was the result but I think this game is winnable.
  22. 'Arry on SSN talking about the Samba deal. "I don't know nuffink abaaaaat the money, naaah guv, nuffink to do wiv me guv, I don't know nuffink abaat that. All the chairman"
  23. In your previous post you implied people with a different opinion suffered from Down's Syndrome, yet you are not claiming to be more intelligent than they are. I believe the bit in bold when you can find proof of people saying, "We need to sign someone, anyone I don't care how good or bad they are." As in a credible post not one of our resident forum lunatics or some sad muppet trying to be funny.
  24. Which isn't unreasonable. However there is a large difference between wanting to sign players with Premier League experience and going down the QPR/Redknapp route of players like Samba for £12m on £100kpw. KRG is suggesting people just want to sign players for the sake of it, which is clearly not that case.
