Hooper has scored 2 against Spartak Moscow, 1 against Helsingborg and 1 against Braga as far as I can make out.

F**k me does that kitchen need redecorating. I thought mine was bad.

Dear Future Lighthouse, Did you get that job you applied for in Norway or are you still stuck in Bristol? I hope you have moved out of that crappy 1 bedroom flat if nothing else, the kitchen is sh*t and the drains in the bathroom stink. Also if you are still driving that f**king Kia get rid of it! Hope you are well (and the wife and kids on the off chance they might have appeared in the last year) Best Regards Present (now past) Lighthouse

Depends if Forrest paid any kind of fee for Harding I'd have thought. He signed on a free. The last player we sold for money, apart from AOC, was Rasiak I think but we wouldn't have made a profit on the £2m we paid for him.

I think the fixtures are out next week. Begin random guessing at who we get first. I am going to say Spurs at home.

Tragic that 1 in 6 people in this country is stupid enough to watch BGT.

How many international teams have had Saints players?
Lighthouse replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
Skacel (Czech Rep), Kachloul (Morocco) and Mayuka (Zambia) -
Wonder if some of the numbers will get moved around again next season. Yoshi or Astori as number 16 maybe. Shaw #3 would seem obvious.

Premier League manager in 'covering his own arse by bigging up the difficulty of the Premier League' shocker. It wont take that much to get into the top 6. £200m will buy you an entire starting XI of £15-25m players. Even Man Utd don't have that.

"Must Do" Away Games 2013/2014. What ate yours?

Still fancy a trip to the M-Rats. Was working for the last one, which is quite lucky when I think of the embarrassing performance we put in. Been to Boro and Sunderland the last 2 years so need to do Newcastle next year to tick off the North East. Been to all 3 promoted clubs in the Champ, so nothing exciting there. H -
I'm not offended, I said he was a plank. "Premier League you're 'avin' a laugh!" is in chapter 1A of football chants and yet it clearly rattled him a bit.
-
Mainly because he comes across as a bitter man with a chip on his shoulder who hides behind a veil of loveable roguery and media sound bites. That's my opinion on him anyway. Then there is this from when we knocked his Blackpool side out of the Cup 2 years ago. What a plank.

This has got to be a minority of feminist just after some publicity, surely there isn't a case here. For a start there is no actual nudity on the front covers of these magazines. All private parts, including women's nips have to be covered up on the front cover of the magazine, as illustrated below (disappointing lack of pics on this thread btw). Yes there is a lot of flesh there but nothing actually sexual, all the interesting stuff is covered up. As people have pointed out, it's not sexual harassment if consenting adult women are choosing (and being paid large amounts of money) to do it. Not sure what Delldays means by 'promoting violence against women. If you see pictures like the one above and think, 'wow I'd love to punch the living sh*t out of her,' YOU have the problem not the magazine.

Am I missing something here? Beatts hasn't actually said anything. It's just Sharp having a troll on twitter. That picture could be months or years old.

333 Ricardo Fullers. Sorted.

A cup win would be something you tell you grand kids you were there. 4th place would mean a playoff against someone like Stuttgart, Feyenoord or Bordeaux. Not very exciting in itself. Then if we got through that a group campaign with maybe one of the big European giants. A trip to (and a heavy defeat at) the Bernebau or the Allianz would be quite an experience but I'd take the cup win. The main benefit of the Champions League is money, not something your average fan should get that excited. I wont be telling my grand kids, "hey we got £25m in TV rights in 2015." Saints win, EASY.
-
FA Cup obviously. Would be hugely disappointed to finish that low in the table.
-
Normally in Monaco that would get you 2 Mars Bars and a scotch egg.

If anything I'd be happier seeing less of Shaw next season. Not because I don't rate him but I don't want him to end up like Lee Holmes, chucked into the side as a teenager and being pretty much ever present. It's not good for a young player to suddenly start playing games of such high intensity this regularly. Hardly surprising he's had injuries the amount he has played, Bale had a similar issue for us and was injured regularly in his first season at Spuds. Sadly Fox's inadequacies have necessitated Shaw's involvement more than I think is sensible. Hopefully that will be remedied next season.

I'd say we're probably about 7th in the list of attractive clubs in England, if the Liebherrs have got the cash to back Cortese's ambitions. There are the Champions League clubs obviously, then Spurs and Liverpool who will probably be likely candidates next season. After that it's pretty much all about the money.
