For all the evils of capitalism, it does create a desire to suceed. Go to school, go to uni, get a job and you could have a Ferrari and a £2m estate in Hertfordshire. Don't bother, drop out of everything and you end up living on a council estate in Brixton. It's not fool proof, but it's the best system we've got. If there is one evil in the world that can match human greed, it's human lazyness.
