An essential win over what appear to likely be one of the relegated teams but was very nice that we did it comfortably. Hopefully things are starting to come together after our horrensdous first 3 games.
-
Liked the looks of Grujic based on what i’ve seen.
-
Thought vestergaard had a good game. we ground out the win which was nice but we were pretty poor.
-
Well Sims has scored 2 in 2 for b team, so should be another option. He’s effected games previously. I can certainly understand logic in getting a fee for boufal given the fringe nature of his role.
-
Be happy to see that! Rewarding a player, who currently is showing form in the B team as the off the bench option for Saturday.
-
Interesting to see there’s no sims.
-
I wouldn’t mind Davies. Wondered at one point if we’d sold them hojberg whether we might have tried to get him as part of package.
-
mccarthy is an ok keeper, being hung out to dry by manager.
-
Bring in vestergaard, move Stephens to the bench. We know it’s going to be cross city. long for Adams please, if Adams isn’t scoring have a player in who does far more for the team. i’d like To see Sims on the bench. Won’t happen though. Can’t say i’m Opt8mistic. We’ve a terrible record and have displayed an inability to be tight defensively which would be needed to take anything from turf moor.

The seeming complacency of the club in regards filling the massive hole in Centre mid is very worrying.
-
Someone surely has to xarry the can for the debacle of a start to the season. How on earth can we be in a position where the only option we have for centre mid is to bring on a lightweight u23 who has generally played higher up in his limited first team experience.
-
Disappointed to see Sims playing, was hoping he might be involved this weekend given our issues out wide

Bring in vestergaard and long in. Given the limited options, On the wing I’d like to see Sims given the start. -
I’d say the likes of vestergaard and long at the very least. Given how bad our wingers have looked, i’d not Be opposed to someone like sims, who’s played a few pre-season games and did well in B team’s opening win.
-
Center mid seems to be absolute immediate priority. Romeu looking like what he always was a backup. Amazed we’ve let the season kick off without a hojberg replacement. very worried about the winger situation too. Redmond seems to have badly lost his edge and is now injured. Armstrong is injured. Djenepo looks rusty as anything. With boufal seemingly off that leaves sims as our remaining Russian roulette option.

Hopefully there will be some changes for Spurs because that was dire. You can't keep rewarding appalling displays. I'd say long is about the only player who came out with any credit imo, which is marginal anyway as Ralph deemed to give him only 5 minutes on the pitch.
-
Long alreadfy done more than any of the first 11 in his one minute on pitch
-
Why won't Ralph use his subs?
-
Normally it would be a bad thing losing redmond but given how appalling he has looked these 2 games maybe not. Amazed Ralph hasn't been interested in trying to give subs an opportunity.
-
I'm more worried by how appalling Redmond currently is.
-
Truly awful by that xi again. Same insipid lazy display. None of them deserve to start for Saints against Spurs.
-
Behind as we deserve based on this pitiful display.
-
We look awful again with exception of one quick attack where ings should have done better. Redmond once again seems massively off the pace.

Redmond trying to take Hojberg's place with suicidal backpasses

Disappointed that Vokins isn't starting. Interested to see how Tella does. Got to assume Djenepo is nowhere near match fit.
