  1. So forster must be going back on loan there too.
  2. Wonder when Le Tiss is next scheduled to be on Sky. Interesting to see what he wears. Should stick a kick it out badge on instead.
  3. I see Starmer is bright enough to criticise as nonsense extreme BLM stuff about getting rid of police.
  4. Your assuming that saints would put him in u23’s rather than save 15k a week in wages. Past experience with other players doesn’t indicate that.
  5. If your boss told you to take another job for half the money would you? forster most likely can just hold out till we buckle to another loan deal unless someone offers similar wages to what he is on.
  6. Think i'd bring back Hojberg for this. This Isn't a game suited to Romeu, whereas yesterday was. Mobility over strength needed. If stephens is back him in too for Vestergaard, for same reason. Armstrong definitely in for Smallbone. Might be worth giving Gunn a game depending how he looks in training.
  7. Personally I don't mind Bournemouth. Pragmatically I look at West Ham and Villa's spending power and would like to see them down for that reason. Given our horrendous record against West Ham i'd probably plump for them if it came down to a straight choice.
  8. I thought he was neat and tidy. I’d call it a solid performance rather than impressive. Hopefully he’ll get more experience this season, which will hopefully give him platform to keep improving.
  9. I was happy to see no gray or Welbeck in the starting lineup. Bednarek and Vestergaard felt well suited to dealing with Deeney. Ings again suberb again. Just hope the club don't sell him this summer because he's bound to generate interest. Real shame adams didn't get his goal. The turn though, a sign it might be worth persevering with him. Our turn to have a keeper throw in an off day. What was with foster's wall for that free kick, making it easy for Ward-prowse, coupled with miscued throw. Our jeckyll and hyde form is bizarre.
  10. He’s only out because we played a couple of days ago.
  11. We would have to offload two not one. we barely managed to shift one out on loan this season, so a new keeper is a massive no from me. our limited transfer budget is needed elsewhere.
  12. There’s clearly pressure to conform in these scenarios. I doubt anyone feels a strong negative to suffer the abuse McLean gets for refusing to bow the politicized poppies event. I do this rite by this point is rapidly losing impact.
  13. Probably for the same reason Leeds were offering 20m for adams, that it would have cost a fortune in January to get replacement and if we lost a striker to injury we'd left with no options.
  14. The reality is that we are stuck with 2 out of 3 for the forseeable future. Forster feels the most shiftable and probably on highest wage too but we no doubt don' t want to appear publicly desperate.
  15. Happy Villa lost. If West Ham go down too that's a bonus.
  16. Not confident. Looks like watford rested players for this one. At least we are away. I'd be tempted to start Adams and put Ings on the bench. No point running him into the ground Freshening up the midfield after last game probably important. Romeu's physical presence might be a good idea against Doucorre. Hojberg was very poor too. If boufal's available i'd probably start him too and use Armstrong off the bench.
  17. I can see when anti-israel sentiment crosses the line into conspiracy theories about their role in Us policing methods that some can see it as having anti-semitic roots. As you say Starmer had to send a message and Long Bailey made it so he only really had one choice. I do if she was sort of relieved get out shadow cabinet and be able to lead left wing faction freely.
  18. always felt Eu approach with extension offers etc have been to try and avoid the blame for internal no deal consequences which has been misinterpreted by brexiteers as a sign that they will baulk from no deal and cave. Merkel’s comments seems to be preparing for end stage of tending Eu no deal wounds and let uk deal with its own gaping no deal wounds.
  19. Typical big team comes to play us in the middle of a bad run we offer them up goals on a plate to make sure they win. Hojberg was particularly poor today playing the team into trouble and offering little going forward. Mccarthy two horrendous blunders. Ings played well.
  20. Jwp and hojberg looking off pace today so far thought Valery started very shakily but has improved. Still looks short of confidence because last season he would have controlled cross field ball don’t get obafemi hate. Service is terrible, almost played ings in, one the few times saints midfield have passed it anywhere but left hand side.
  21. Maybe he’s being told not to put his foot through it but it just feels stupid given he’s no sweeper keeper to have McCarthy muck about with it in such scenarios.
  22. I definitely go for Valery. Not least the fact that the alternative is not our player, several years older but with much less senior experience.
  23. Shame Norwich didn't take something from Everton. Glad Villa didn't win.
  24. Yeah can’t see them wanting to swap their fringe England player for hojberg. Dier has regressed badly and doesn’t seem to fit what we want from a center back. maybe ndombele has just had bad luck but would seem a massive gamble and he probably wouldn’t be interested either
