Shame this slow lethargic arsenal didn’t turn up at st Mary’s.
-
Cedric showing those awesome crossing skills saints fan know so well.
-
I suppose it helps to have the gravitas of Ancelotti to sell the notion of settling for Everton.
-
Watford’s cunning game plan of sitting on the edge of their box and letting city thread the needle leading to a predictable 4 nil defeat.

Players you would sign from relegated teams....

Will Hughes is a good shout. delofeu is another good Watford player. -
I did wonder during the game about the way ings was moving whether there was something up.
-
Wonder if levy did not allow us an option on kwp in Jan, with the plan to conflate the 2 transfers and reduce the hojberg fee.

may well be that. i’m just surprised there hasn’t seemd to be more interest in this young free agent especially in the current economic climate.
-
Curious, given our right back issues did we not rate him?
-
Well that Sheffield utd result is thoroughly annoying. You just know they won’t be so insipid against us too.

It was interesting to see how low an opinion Bournemouth forum have of Harry Wilson. Rammed home my earlier impression that he is just a set piece pony. -

Another good listen, pity it is ending. -
I heard the commentator say he was a Saints mascot & saints were trying to convince him to join them but didn't catch the commentators name. Was hoping he'd expand on his reason for not joining Saints.

Be interesting to see if the likes of Ferry might get some minutes from the bench

Adams still looks awkward at times. There was an earlier chance where he got his posture all mucked up. Worth persevering with though. Don't see the value in loaning Obafemi when he is scoring for us. Spending money or developing somebody else's player who may turn out to be a Danso. There's plenty of other positions where we actually need to spend our limited resources.
-
Didn't palace put a £100M tag on Zaha. I think it would have to be something astronomical like that to be even worth considering, not 50m.
-
I just think the percentages in that kind of scenario is down the middle. Relegation threatened keeper isn't going to stand still. What you don't do is stare to a corner making it pretty obvious you aren't going to that side in reality.
-
I want money bags Villa relegated personally. Don't mind which of Bournemouth or Watford stay up.
-
Best, Ings turning into our own version of Harry Kane JWP, developing into a centre midfield powerhouse Stephens, showing defensive solidity to go along with his fine ball playing skills Worse Gunn, ignoring the atrocious howler moments, just seemed a case of shots on target too often just going in. Danso, at least he was only a loan Valery, after a great breakthrough season this season he seems to be drained of confidence. Hopefully he can bounce back from this set back.
-
Would be fantastic if we could get someone to give us money for Gunn.

Vestergaard is clearly a flawed player but he was actually suited to this sort of game. Won lots in the air. Whoever we buy to replace I hope they have that element too. Don't mind Bournemouth. Hope they beat everton last game. If that saves them that's fine by me.
-
We're they saying that on the commentary that it beat the season saints came 2nd?
-
Well I was shouting and banging my desk in frustration as I thought saints lack of clinical finishing was going to cost us. Ings is a great player but I was shocked he didn't just go for pace down the middle with his penalty. His effort was so telegraphed. we seem to yoyo between Le tiss/lambert every penalty feels a certain goal to a penalty is unlikely for us to score from. Saints were very much the far better team and it's good to have a scoreline that reflects that.

Norwich really are awful. No pride at all.

It’ll be interesting to see Bielsa in the Prem.
