Not a huge fan of Fraser, as i think Championship is sort of his level now. If they are giving him away on a free i guess that makes him an ok depth option but then there's the issue of what sort of contract length he wants.

It’s more a case of saying the kitchen is functional(so short term a massively expensive upgrade) isn’t a priority when there’s holes in the roof and no shower. some people seem to be acting like we’re still a top 10 team rather than a newly promoted bournemouth/forest who’s primary aim immediately will be to survive.

In the short term we are going to be in a relegation battle ( most likely), so relegation battle standards AA, Stephens, bednarek are fine.

Don’t get the Stephens hate. He’s a good championship player and he’s passable if not great in prem. given the multiple holes this team will need to fill I doubt we’ll be upgrading the likes of him or bednarek soon.

Leeds were very poor i thought, apart from James' late contribution. Mccarthy had one decent save to make and a couple of good punches. We had some good spells today. Edozie could/should have made it more comfortable.

2 very good spells by saints (up to goal) and at end of half. Was concerned during period around Brooks injury as we seemed pinned back but we rode it out. Still think we'll need another.

That feels such a lazy appointment. Him getting another job mmediately in championship (after being largely responsible for relegating Birmingham) is appalling.

They’ve already (stupidly imo) committed themselves to lumley. If we stay down I doubt we’ll want to be spending money on a keeper and will instead be looking for a stopgap. Dependent on wage demands, his interest in stayingand other free agent/loan goalkeepers available mccarthy certainly becomes a possible option.

Very much night and day half’s. 1st half, slow and conservative with bucketloads of possession but little goal threat. 2ns half passing so much quicker and more positive. Didn’t gave the same level of possession but were 10 times more threatening. 2 nicely worked goals and a clever dive by manning (after ref knew he’d dropped a clanger over the earlier blatant penalty on brooks) roll on the final.

Saints really come out with a much more positive and it’s had an immediate impact. Fair play for Martin getting a reaction from players after the lacklustre 1st half.

Their keeper has barely had to do anything to do, that’s not being outplayed off the park.

Given saints tend to completely fade physically late in games I wouldn’t count on it.

Horribly negative for the most part despite the possession domination. So many times picking safe backwards pass.

I’d love it if it was scrapped. Sadly don’t believe they will. Instead it’ll likely get expanded so there’s even more horrificness.

Let's just hope adams is fit and on it in the 2nbd leg as Saints were completely toothless today (barring a deflection). Really disliked the really negative approach of last 10 minutes.

Hopefully a couple of early Ipswich and this ends up a snooze affair.

Wouldn't mind seeing an experiment with 3 at the back. I think i'd want an additional midfielder in instead of brooks.

I’ve definitely been beyond disappointed by his output this season. The moments where he looked a threat last season were quick breaks. Not sure our current style suits him but you’d still expect some output.

I don't want Manning playing against any team that is half decent(which rles out playoffs completely) as i think he is a liability defensively I'm probably in the minority as preferring the Stephens LB thing as the least bad option.

Seems such a weird strategy. Rest so many key players but also refuse even countenance giving 1 academy player a chance.
