  1. Not really to be honest. I don't hate him but equally don't feel sorry for him or want to give him a warm greeting. He made his bed, chasing money after the euros, now he has to lie in it.
  2. McCarthy Pied yoshi Stephens targett Hojberg Romeu Jwp boufal long Austin
  3. I'd assume only one would go, that most likely being Gazza. Rose has to have been brought in for U23's.
  4. Would prefer us giving him an opportunity in prem to be honest rather than another loan out.
  5. Very happy with statement from Krueger. Of course he had to caveat it with scenario of someone coming in with a simply astronomical bid.
  6. Just looking at the BBC's pick your best XI from the Premier league era. Shocked both by the completely limited options & that somebody of Le Tiss class is not even an option. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40483774
  7. Not sure about the ðeal in all honesty. Just hope there aren't a bunch of skeletons in the closet to jump out and tarnish saints down the road.
  8. I assume he's there to play in U23 league & EFL trophy.
  9. Replacing one of the best centre backs in the league with spurs fourth choice hmm. He may be a lot better than his most recent poor spurs outings but hardly a move to set the pulse racing.
  10. Stick with formation. Goals will come. Boufal in for redmond & possibly lemina for Davis.
  11. Frustrating our failure to convert dominance into a victory. That said so much better than anything I saw from puel's saints. Some delicious passing football. Thought tadic was very good today that Miss apart. Surely we should have had at least one of those penalty appeals too. Also hope Romeu yellow isn't a sign of refs stance because that was just regular commitment to winning the ball. If football is going to remove that they might as well go non contact.
  12. The team pretty much picks itself other than which two of redmond/Boufal/Tadic manager goes for. Personally think redmond might miss out given his later return. Forster Cedric Stephens Yoshi Bertrand Davis Romeu Boufal JWP Tadic Gabbi Subs Mccarthy/Taylor, Pied, Bedanek, Lemina, Long, Austin, Redmond
  13. Personally i think Spurs would be much better to extract Shaw from his Man Utd nightmare as i think he's actually a better defender than Rose and 5 years younger.
  14. Would be disappointed to see Long leave. Last season's approach didn't suit him at all and his confidence in front of goal was stripped away but he's still a very useful player imo, who could have an impact this season.
  15. Good news if midfield addition is close. Not sure i see the point in a loan goalkeeper. Are we going to get better than Gazzaniga on loan anyway. Also would be very nice to have some communication regarding Mccarthy. Hope we haven't committed to sell Van Dijk, regardless of whether or not anyone meets our valuation. Hope the 3 targets are none of the 3 mediocre(gibson, Sakho, Wimmer) Intrigued as to who the loan might be.
  16. Really not keen on any of sakho, Gibson, Wimmer. Very average players imo.
  17. Hope we don't give in and sell him cheaply. Make him suffer if no one will pay 75m fee.
  18. Saw the story linking spurs getting rid of sissoko on loan. World Cup season so he may be more motivated to showcase his abilities if saints were interested.
  19. Interested to see the lineup. You'd hope it would give indications for 1st league game.
  20. Hope the focus is on bringing in a quality new defensive mid in.
  21. Might be a good thing that we got a hiding in this friendly. We seem to have spent the summer drifting outside of the managerial appointment.
  22. Agree, don't want to sell at all but if he goes for anywhere near 60m mark rather than the anywhere near the 75M, that will rub extra salt into the gaping wound.
  23. I'll be really disappointed if TOM28 is correct and we've decided to roll over and sell him. Makes us look completely spineless. It'll just encourage whatever team wants to poach one of our players next summer. Worse still is the timing. At least if they made the decision in June they could have planned and spent money early in the window like Everton. Now we've got a week and half till the season starts to somehow try and conclude buying a top quality first choice centre back and get him bedded into the team.
  24. Yeah for me its more that neither Stephens(just signed a 5 year deal) nor Yoshi would be happy as 4th choice centre back. More likely he's one of the players we're tracking in case van dijk leaves or its the usual paper hot air. Only other scenario is that Yoshida is off and he's coming in as competition with stephens for the 2nd slot
  25. At least recently Mane/Wanyama/Clyne there were real short contractual length reasons to sell. this time is far worse, we've got him on long contract and gone out of our way to complain about their tactics and still folded like a cheap suit.
