Exactly so much of their play came down that side because Sarr is their best player by a country mile. That's why KWP was in today imo(because Ralph trusts him slightly more defensively than Perraud)

Great to get the win. Largely a very good performance. Would have been nice if we could have put it to bed earlier and not had that ropey nervewracking last 5 minutes. Great goal by Adams, and very good hold up play in general. Just the dodgy header off a complete display. Right decision to play KWP who did well against Sarr generally. S Armstrong still looks very rusty. Really nice save by Mccarthy when i thought we'd blown it as well as the usual calm coming and claiming aerial balls. Personally i thought we should have got Tella on in that second half to try and get in behind them.

Thought he did brilliantly for the first chance, another day that goes inside the post. Second chance he's got to be working the keeper though. Forgot about his headed chance.

Very good frist half, with the usual caveat of we should have got a second for all that domination. Hope it doesn't come back to haunt us.

I do wonder when Broja's fit if we could try a more 4-3-3

The big difference in trying to compare it to the poppy is that one if one weekend a year and the other is 365 days a year.

I can see the logic of people wanting to us to figure out a way to get one of best 11 players (kwp) into the team, given livramento has played further forward at u23 level. If they want to try it Away to Liverpool, which is a bit of a free hit and where our 10’s will be doing a lot of defending seems a logical place to experiment.

If we're going to experiment with Livramento as a 10, personally i'd think Liverpool away might be the game to do so.

If Djenepo's fit i'd like to see him on the left. Think Peraud will need lots of help against Sarr. If Armstrong's out, i guess Elyounessi is the most like for like option on the right. I'd prefer to see Tella there but he'll likely be on the bench.

I did wonder if he had a knock coming off or was just exhausted on Tuesday.

Thought long was good off the bench today. Like to see his penalty again. Was it one of those that looks good because the keeper has gone the wrong way or is it nice calmness to get the keeper to go the other way and then roll it in the other side. Was hoping Lyanco might take a penalty. Feels like the sort of character who would thrive off such a situation.

Really good performance by the second string. Thought Lyanco had won it at the end. Lyanco must be in contention to start at the weekend if he's physically ok. As for Penalties you can't afford to put penalties off target. Walcott's looked to be heading wide before Kepa saved it and Smallbone blazed out of the staidum. Oriel(down the middle) showing what you should do if you can't put it in the corner with power. Forster unlucky on the hudson-odoi penalty too, almost got there.

Very good half but disappointing way to concede. Should KWP really have been defending that position. Lyanco looks so different to the calamity described from the Sheff Utd game. Could be a bargain.
