Deserves a thread of its own. What a huge moment of the season this is gonna be. Is he going to show loyalty to the club or Cortese? I would hope he would show some loyalty to the fans and club after the tremendous support he has been given. He surely will have known since Cortese handed his notice in so there must have been a contingency plan put in place with him. Wonder what the outcome of the talks last night were. If he leaves then it will be a shame as it will feel very sour and disloyal.

Surely if he handed in his notice in October which some papers have suggested then there would be a contingency plan in place rather to avoid crisis. You would think that a family capable of running a £3 billion business might have some clue as to managing a business. Surely. The media seem to be having a field day.

Given the drama of all the back pages do we believe that our best players are gonna abandon ship? I personally think Shaw will go but that would be it. Why on earth would we allow half the team to leave and why would all the players now because of one man at the club want to leave. They didn't when NA was sacked. Totally OTT in my humble opinion. One would like to think players have loyalty to the club and fans rather than one short Italina business man and a non English speaking manager (if he leave)

There will not be mass exodus in January. Shaw will probably leave.

Thing is when is there ever a mass player exodus, in mid season with a club that isn't skint. Never. Even if 5-6 key players want to leave I am sure we can negotiate them to stay until the summer. I would like to think the players have an ounce of loyalty to the club.

The dumb media need reminding that our players are under contract and we do not need to sell them now. I am more than certain that we will not sell our star players off mid-season. Maybe Shaw will go but that was likely to be the case with the rumoured bids being reported. By the summer this will all have resolved. Key thing is what MP says tomorrow.
