We don’t have this in us.

Frustratingly, we could have pushed on after Koeman. We were an attractive, fashionable club ready to establish ourselves as a top 10 side. It just didn’t happen. There was some hope we’d start to turn it around again after appointing Hassenhuttl but, for some reason, it was a failure in the end.

That was awful.

Imagine getting sussed out by Rotherham.
-
Sort this out. Rubbish.

Edit

Me too. They’re not.
-
I don’t think anyone else cares enough for us to be considered a laughing stock.

He’s up there as one of our worst ever signings.
-
I do respect JWP for everything he did for the club but he was not captain material when he needed to be last season.

I would love to know what happened in the build up to the 4-0 defeat against Villa in Ralph’s penultimate season. It seemed to be the catalyst for our tumble towards the Championship. We were a fairly established mid table side off the back of one defeat in nine before that game. Then we only won one more match and have been largely outplayed ever since (bar the first few games of this season before reverting to type at Sunderland).

I’ve stuck up for Martin and thought Sunderland was a blip. Obviously not, this is clueless football.

It starts at just before 1hr 28. Says it was the worst time of his career. Treated very poorly, if true.

Interesting words from Mark O’Brien on NJ on the latest Undr the Cosh podcast.
-
I bet he used to say Nigel Atkins as well.
-
What was THAT?
-
Defeats and Don Goodman - and there are people who said the Championship was going to be fun.
-
There will be some fans who will take this as he’s not getting his message across to the players.
-
The fan base hasn’t been this divided over a manager’s haircut since the appointment of Mark Wotte.
-
Sums this place up right now perfectly.
-
Fair enough. Appreciate your perspective. I’m positive RM is going to get this team cooking with gas soon, hopefully against Leicester. And I think the “pally” nature with players is positive. It seems genuine.
-
It was more in reference to this: ”RM seems uber relaxed and pally with his players, but that can be a dangerous thing....he's the boss, not their mate.”
-
Wow - all this after one league defeat. This place is ridiculous.
