I do wish him well despite his failings with us. He did give fans some hope we’d not felt for a long time with the win over Chelsea. Just a shame the good performances were overshadowed by terrible ones. He was out of his depth as a Premier League boss. Hopefully this will be a good start for his career.

Both solid appointments at this level. You can’t discredit Rodgers’ achievements, regardless of what people think of him.

I’ve listened to a few of these and Jordan lets Le Tiss off lightly compared to how he went in on Souness and Barnes.

What a team. Probably my favourite season of the second PL era. Great to see a young Prowsey with the free kick talent even back then. You can really feel the “together as one” vibe throughout here. Hopefully we’ll see camaraderie like that again.
