May I ask why people are upset about Sulemana going? For me, he’s among the players we wasted a colossal amount of cash on last season. The game against Liverpool was as dead rubber as they come, I’m sorry to say. Alcaraz and Lavia were the only good signings last season and would expect both to go before the window ends.

To be honest, I don’t care who we lose in this transfer window. We need a total refresh both on the pitch and in mindset. You’ve just got to trust the process.

I think a lot of you need to take off the rose tinted specs and come to terms with JWP leaving. I think Villa will nab him and a lot of players will be attracted to Emery’s philosophy.

Didn’t work last year, did it? The team couldn’t have looked more disjointed and, if reports are to be believed, there were divides in the camp. We need an entirely fresh start.

Both Fonte and Evans would be good signings.

Leicester sign Coady and Winks. Very solid signings for the Championship. On paper they should be a shoo-in for the title but I’m not convinced their new boss will be much cop. We shall see.
