Yes, we know he wanted a move and, yes, we’ve done well to get £30 million for him, but I’m struggling to see who we can bring in that’s on par with his class. Armstrong definitely isn’t (yet) and is unproven in the Premier League. Finding Danny’s replacement is going to be the biggest call this management has made in years. It needs to be spot on.
