  1. When I read this forum these days, all I see is this: "Pspslsndnelwlanskdlfnnfkslsnxnsn" So tiresome, so dull, so serious, such a waste of a life for some posters.
  2. Saints fans read what they want to read. This guy will be a failure.
  3. That video may receive a Sundance Film Festival nomination.
  4. Would prefer Dennis Irwin.
  5. I have my reservations about Koeman. Legendary name but I have this eerie feeling that he'll flop with us. Please feel free to dig this up next May if Saints get him and he performs wonders.
  6. Mancini? Give over. Though he'd keep us up, and that's all we need next season.
  7. Tuchel* FFS Is Ole's wife called Rachel? Then my above post would make a lot more sense.
  8. Rachel screams Solksjaer I'm afraid. Not keen on Koeman or Yakin. Not really impressed with any of the names linked. I'd pick Moyes purely for the Hoddle effect. Big man who fell but rose again with us. He may go after a year but it'll give us a year of sourcing a real diamond in the rough.
  9. I must be in the minority but I don't get the disappointment of potentially every Saints player in the squad not being a Saints player by the time the World Cup starts. It was their time with Saints that got them there. This is surely their pinnacle. They didn't do this with any other team and haven't played for another Premier League team yet, so it is testament to the club. They could go on to be major flops for their next clubs and may never get the chance to play for their country/in a major international tournament ever again. Unlikely, but could happen. With their new clubs, their records will still read pld 0 scored 0 until August, so it is still a moment to savour.
  10. I'm done with this place.
  11. You can't begrudge him, in fact I'm happy for him. Head and shoulders my favourite player since Matty. We would do the same if our teams came knocking. Am I bothered? No, it's only football. I'm sure Rovers fans felt the same as some as you lot when he came here, what goes around comes around. I find it slightly odd how football affects people. I've read some truly bizarre, borderline paranoid, stuff on here.
  12. Sniffing noses up at Moyes??!? Unreal.
  13. What are you basing this on? How does anyone on this forum know what's going on? The club doesn't have to do/say anything to appease its fan base.
  14. Sorry Phil, Scouting for Girls are one if the worst bands I've ever had the misfortune of listening to. Comparing them to the rather drab Killers is offensive to Brandon Flowers and co.
  15. Goodbye Saints' rose May you ever grow in our hearts You were the grace that placed itself Where lives were torn apart You called out to our city And you whispered to those in pain Now you belong to football exile And the stars spell out your name And it seems to me you lived your life Like a candle in the wind Never fading with the sunset When the rain set in And your footsteps will always fall here Along Southampton's greenest hills Your candle's burned out long before Your legend ever will Loveliness we've lost These empty days without your smile This torch we'll always carry For our city's golden child And even though we try The truth brings us to tears All our words cannot express The joy you brought us through the years (repeat chorus) Goodbye Saints' rose May you ever grow in our hearts You were the grace that placed itself Where lives were torn apart Goodbye Saints' rose From a city lost without your soul Who'll miss the wings of your compassion More than you'll ever know
  16. I heard he's becoming the new face of Radio Taxis.
  17. That's true, and in some ways being a fan would be more enjoyable. I don't get why people take football so personally. If Lallana leaves, it's not going to change my life. Other things are far more important.
  18. What's the point of discussing something we have no control over? That said, selling Lallana will bring the club much needed funds to push on. If we invest in the way Norwich did in the summer, like we should have, it will show a real sign of intent to the rest of the league.
  19. But trust me, on the sunscreen.
  20. Saints fans - embarrassing the living f*ck out of football since the Big Bang.
  21. What a sad, lonely man he is. (Says me posting on a forum)
  22. I believe legendary centre back scored two in two games. The one that came off his ar5e is a personal favourite.
  23. Do they realise Luke Shaw's heat map looks like a huge willy and balls?
  24. Expressing my opinion, like, but I find it bizarre how fans can give mediocre marks and suggest the team must do better. The club is in its second season after returning to the top flight and have put in a phenomenal effort all things considered. How can anyone feel less than a 10? Even if we were in a dog fight, I'd still be feeling 10. Those years after relegation in 2005 were appalling, just appalling. I wouldn't blame anyone for feeling less than a 2 in the months leading to administration under Wotte. Truly dark, dank days. Now we are in the top flight again playing some of the best football I've seen ever, with a core pedigree of the best English talent around, and there is more to come. Maybe once the club establishes itself as a top flight side, and isn't able to progress past a certain position each year, then I think I'd start thinking there needs to be improvement. The club has no divine right to be where it is. If it wasn't for a billionaire bail out, there'd be no club.
