Interesting to see the reactions on here. Fully expect us to lose at least one (praying not arsenal as I have a ticket, in the arsenal stand). But it's really not the end of the world if we lose one, or both. I personally think we are capable of getting a result in at least one (no reason why we couldn't in both). We have shown we are capable of doing so since MP came in. Fully agree with Turkish about how key Big Vic & Morgan are likely to be in both games, though they are in most for us with our style of play.

Fair play to those admitting they we're wrong. But I can't help it is just a case of same old same old. Some people are so quick to write players off if they aren't standout performers immediately. I think he was ok, not great not awful up until his injury, and yeah did struggle a bit when he came back. He's now demonstrating the talent any sensible person knew he had, and as a player that has come through the academy and the entire roller coaster journey of the last few years, it's an absolute joy to behold. I just can't help feel that those that wrote him off were probably the ones also so quick to write off Morgan, J-Rod etc. granted, maybe I am too patient, the case of Gaston certainly springs to mind. I'm starting to side with those that think he won't make it here. Unlike some I won't take any pleasure, or rejoice in this. I think he is supremely talented, and some club will benefit from him. You roll the dice on these things, sometimes it comes off sometimes it doesn't. I'd like us to persevere, but would be less upset than I would have been previously if he was to move on. I still don't think he has been anywhere near as bad as some like to make out. I know I've said it before, but he contributed a higher number of goals and assists last season (combined) than Puncheon, who seemed to acquire a bizarre status on here (probably coz he ran around a lot, doing that same move, taking too many touches and losing the ball). I'd also still be curious to see him play with Osvaldo. Lest this be a warning, sometimes, players really do need just a bit of time - and in the case of Lallana, he really had earned that at least.

Always liked him for some inexplicable reason. Decent, if unspectacular manager. Think he'll keep hull up, which is no mean feat. Good on him.
