Tadic's slump is getting ridiculous now, did ANY of his crosses find a red and white shirt?????
-
sending off completes a classic saints defeat
-
Some are talking as if we're forcing him out of the club, there's a contract on the table FFS. Either he decides to sign it or he chooses to move on, its entirely his decision and nothing the club can do. If he 'clearly wanted to stay', he would have signed, end of. Enough with pandering to the player's feelings and making sure their phone calls are answered and if they're tucked into bed at night. Did any of the defectors give a **** about the club's feelings when they left last summer?

i really wouldn't mind a replay now pleaseeeeeee

spurs 1-2 thats 4 of the top 6 teams in the league currently on the verge of going out. going to be quite an easy cup to win

spurs 1-1

Definitely has to be SRL. His goals brought us from L1 to the championship to the PL, from relegation battlers to stability in the top 10. He never looked out of place everytime we went up a level and gave us moments like his goal against Scotland. A Saints legend of recent times. He was the symbol of our incredible rise and I, for one, won't be erasing him from memory or 'moving on' from him just because he chose to pursue a dream move to his boyhood club.

Exactly, what kind of fan hopes for the team to lose games??!

VIDEO: Eljero Elia's first interview for Saints
max_saints replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
cringed when he said dream come true -
Excellent point! Could even have been 3 points if we had clyne going up against hazard for their goal. Extremely hard to watch though as I kept having a nagging feeling at the back of the mind that we would give away a cheap goal right at the end in typical saints style. There was a run that targett made in the first half that reminded me so much of shaw, motm for me factoring in this being his first premier league start.

definitely can get a point for this one, arsenal looked shaky at west ham today. would be tempted to revert back to 352. fonte alderweireld yoshi mccarthy jwp (tadic?) wanyama davis bertrand mane pelle

think you're thinking of highlights of the league cup games (sheffield game was conveniently forgotten though) this was posted earlier in the thread: http://footyroom.com/southampton-3-0-everton-2014-12/
-
think what everyone is forgetting is that the main problem is not with his ability but the fact that he always seems to be out with some injury. even when he does play, he would eventually be subbed off due to an injury. whether this is because he lacks fitness, can't adapt to the physicality of the league, or the fact he is always jetting off to S.America for internationals, I feel he will never make it in this league. it is time we stop looking to him to step up as our saviour
-
thought he had a good game yesterday denying the likes of lukaku and barkley. didn't stand out but was made to work for his clean sheet with a couple of excellent stops. only weakness seems to be coming out and dealing with crosses which is surprising given his height.
-
solid today against lukaku, been dependable whenever we have had to rely on him this season. really lucky to have him as backup. perhaps he should have started midweek?
-
reed starting, mane on the bench, no mayuka, seager on the bench. is koeman a saints web regular?
-
our bench is going to look pathetic for the everton game
-
LOL that completes the set of things that could go wrong for us
-
fk morgan yellow too
-
rickie lambert on loan in jan to take our penalties? lol

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/414853/Ronald-Koeman-Europa-League-Southampton-Champions-League-unrealistic "Koeman has also confirmed he will look to strengthen in the transfer window with Senegal wide-man Sadio Mane and Japan captain Maya Yoshida set to miss most of January due to international commitments. The Saints boss added: "We will look for one or two players in the window because of international competitions. Mane will be at the Africa Cup of nations and Yoshida will be at the Asia Cup."
