  1. Glad that he is showing the qualities now he is settling in properly and as a result, there are two more words that can be added here: Jordy Clasie.
  2. I can't wait for us to become a team who can play well in both halves.
  3. I'll just get irritated when they start calling us scummers. Absolutely the least original put down in football anyway (it still makes me laugh when Bompey try to rationalise it when pretty much all clubs refer to their nearest rivals as scummers, just like we used to for them) and for Bournemouth to copy it is just silly.
  4. Bruce wobbly legs
  5. Seeing as you like just to pick one element out of a post, I'll do it with you, at which point do I say that I am offering my 'expert opinion'. And anyway, I've made my point and essentially, in your final sentence, you've validated it. Gracias
  6. Why don't you read the posts. I was being asked to give my expert opinion to which I responded that RK is the expert. What is actually weird is that people on forums imply they know more than genuine football experts, which is kind of the point. Discuss all you want but for the sake of those who cannot understand, the point I'm making is that a genuine football expert like RK thinks he's a good player. Nothing more, nothing less. Have a read again.
  7. 100% what I was thinking as well
  8. Fair point, yet RK has no problem picking him now. If he was so rubbish, he wouldn't be picked, but he must be doing something right in the manager's eyes.
  9. The expert opinion is Ronald Koeman. That's the point. Why don't you take it up with him.
  10. JWP was rubbish...yet people who know infinitely more about football than anybody on here (unless you're a lurker Ronald) keep picking him. Hmmm, who's wrong I wonder. You just have to question the judgment of those experts at the football club who've won numerous major trophies, know what they want players to do during a match but who just don't know as much keyboard warriors
  11. This statement is no bad thing when it comes to other young players looking at their development pathway
  12. The whole competition was an embarrassment to the daily echo, then the city and the fans.
  13. Maybe, maybe not, but now there is zero chance of laughing at him if we destroyed them, which is a shame
  14. Agreed, worst thing ever introduced to football has been music after goals especially. 100% unnecessary
  15. Hmmmm, very doubtful indeed from what many have heard. There are ways to go about leaving and I think you can read between the lines that he didn't make the best moves. Fonte, Davis and Davis are some of the few left from his time now anyway. He could have been a legend but he opted to become a bit part player.
  16. Thought this was answered but was less football plan but more business to drive revenue to help the football side grow. The club has said European football and trophies are the aim and what they are working towards. Putting a date on winning something in football is largely futile. Let's face it, saying get in the premier league in 5 years is a little more easy to realistically commit to than winning the Champions League.
  17. Anyone down on women's football probably just has a problem understanding the bigger picture. Well played Saints, an important project even if some people can't fathom why it is happening.
  18. Always frustrating when we sell out then cock it up. definitely up there with the Europa Cup exit (both legs) and Everton performances for worst for a while and we are only coming up to a quarter of the way through the season. Once again, a lesson needs to be learned
  19. He sleeps with the fishes...football career wise at least
  20. Amazing to think that Steve Davis is almost as good a footballer as he was a snooker player. Steven Davis should try and emulate him
  21. Before this all goes mental, take a moment to consider that the more revenue the club has, the easier it is to keep hold of players or at very least be on more of a competitive footing for longer.
  22. What this thread proves is that there is no 'one' golden way to be a football fan, it is multi-faceted. As long as people follow Saints in some form, I see that as a good thing, especially if they buy tickets and merchandise that goes to the pot to help Ronald buy players!
