IMO keep him on a reduced contract for a year as we have a hole at RB at the moment. He looked reasonable at this level when he played there rather than CB where he could be flat-footed. Otsemaboor, Murty and James the only other choices at RB. Not promising as none of them did better than Thomas there.

There you go then....sloppy journo. These lists are generally not compiled with input from the subjects....everything is estimated according to them. This nut should have checked his own paper's sources.

Anyone else check out the Sunday Times Sports Rich List? Markus does not make it into the top 5 rich League 1 owners. Swindon apparently with the men with deeper pockets. Sloppy journo or hidden Swiss accounts?

Like any high-profile manager in any walk of business life, if the board back you with the resources you asked for then they want to see that you use them well and have a plan for doing so that takes the business forward. I've had this myself recently (even was talking to my bro yesterday in the bar before the match about it). NC is right to put pressure on but both he and AP should keep their council on the matter and not discuss it in public. AP has had good early success and can argue that our targets were to rebuild and survive this year. But, be under no illusion that the board will want to see us dominate L1 next year from the off assuming we haven't scraped into the play-offs (and won). I believe that AP and NC can and will succeed. COYS.

Agree, 326 only had boos for Mahwinney the turd.

A bit like at MK last week then... I dont mind getting a bit wet if we get the same result. Rickie for a hat-trick. What are the odds?

Is AP's job in danger today should we lose?

Oh please. This has been done to death. He has 18 months and Liebherr will honour that. -
Ricky Lambert corners and free kicks

Can comppletely agree. It matters not one iota that RL can deliver a good ball into the box if there is no-one who is effective at converting it on the other end of said good ball. RL's job is to get in there and use his best talent at scoring the goals or setting someone else up at close range. 9 others on the pitch cant be that bad. What about Harding or Lallana, Schneidelin even? I hope AP has learned a valuable lesson from this match. Dont expect RL to do everything so we become a one-man team that others can easily stifle. -
That sounds more plausible IMO. All the way down to the equivalent of the Diadora 3rd Division which is where Aldershot re-started.

In Lambert the force is strong. Others in this way are not so blessed.

Boring leads to predictability which leads to complacency and defeat Pardew needs to launch a rocket.
