  1. Fair point also. I suppose it does depend in what sphere you do work as many engineers would have heard of them but we are a shrinking crowd. Also journos only get off on celeb sh*te, money and politics these days.
  2. Not all Swiss companies shuffle money or make drugs, some actually make things out of big lumps of metal (including mine too). This is something we are not really used to much in the UK any more.
  3. No. Swiss group include a Liebherr who is sibling of thise who run the large group of Liebherr companies. Loaded still apparently.
  4. Shame. But you cant blame him with the continuing uncertainty. He proved to be a better keeper last season and showed some loyalty towards us by not legging it sooner. Will be missed.
  5. Nail on head OSM. Now he has the new manager's contract he will be eligible for comp and couldn't give a stuff what happens. He is in a no lose situation. Unfortunately Saints are not!
  6. May have to get the cycling stuff and the soft shell jacket....if they take over of course.

  16. Oh F*ck! Where are the Toblerones?
  17. Aren't you the one who saw the Range Rover with the Swiss plates though Dog? You should be close enough to tell us. Or was that just BS before?
  18. Pinnacle does have a real whiff about it though. It may be a better bet with Heidi and the cowherds. Maybe it's that ex-Spurs manager from Basle involved.
  19. Switzerland is land-locked so that can't count as overseas at least
  20. True, the franc must be fairly near the bottom at about CHF1.7=£1. Normal trading is above 2.0, nearer 2.2.
  21. Tough call but it's no different than BA workers working for a month without pay. May be some high paid footballers can too so the regular staff and scholars can be paid.
  22. Not so. Just listen to 606 on a Saturday when Manure or Liverpool have lost.
  23. We need some on-tour shenanagens to get things really livened up, a la Steve Moran. Oh no thats being wrecked during pre-season. Sorry.
  24. Schumacher was a decent footballer. Maybe he is involved. His pad is over near Lake Konstanz.
