Who would we be higher under, Adkins or Pochettino?

So you weren't sensing the considerable improvement in Nigel's last few games? Come on mate, those Arsenal and Chelsea performances were outstanding. -

I never said he was great today, just generally over the past several games he's gone from being a league one forward under Adkins to being a championship forward under MP. Still not prem level and I'm not convinced he ever will be. Why we got rid of Billy to replace him with this dross and lose £7m in the process is beyond me. -

If there's one thing I'll give this guy credit for, it's how he improved Jayrod. Don't get me wrong he's still worth nowhere near £7m, but he's gone from being p*ss-poor under Adkins to being merely mediocre/average under MP. -

Adkins without a shadow of a doubt, how is this even a question? -

Much improved over the last away game reaction. No qualms from me this time. -
Team playing well under Pochettino: MYTH

When someone resorts to an isolated exception to disprove a general rule, that is what winds me up the most. My point still stands. The City game was a one-off. The expected three points at home to QPR wiped out the 'bonus' points we got there, and since that game all our subsequent performances combined have not yielded as good an overall performance as the one that evening. Sure, it was an exception and you can expound on that point all you like, but the bigger picture is that we've not been playing well. One fantastic performance out of seven does not a good team or manager make. -
That is exactly my point. Pretty football will undoubtedly create a few chances, but they're either few and far between or not clear-cut. Under MP we no longer create the gilt-edged opportunities we had under Nigel, and opposition goalkeepers are feeling it. We're not making them do any work or forcing any saves.

Excluding the City game which I've come to the conclusion of was a fluke based on subsequent performances, yes (and cup games don't count, that was a weakened team we fielded). -

Barring Sunderland every performance was of a better standard than what we've seen under MP. -
Played a delightful little chip midway through the second half to put Jayrod through on goal. The kind of ball Ramirez and Lallana couldn't play between them if they were on that pitch all day.

Let's not compare Chelsea, Arsenal etc. with the dross we've been playing of late. -
To answer the title: YES, YES, YES. God-awful today Adam was.

Bit of deja vu today. Against a p*ss poor Norwich side.

How exactly did today's performance fill you with enough confidence to say that? -

Still absolutely no improvement whatsoever performance wise over Adkins. Decision more mind-boggling with every game. -
Best CB we have at the moment.

Am I the only one who disagrees with our chairman on this issue?

If that is true our upcoming defeats will be more like trouncings.
