  1. 340,000 leave votes in NI, population of Gib approx 35,000. Still leaves over two and a half million.
  2. No, just pointing out a statistical curiosity. And please don't blaspheme.
  3. Anybody to the left of Genghis Khan.
  4. We can but hope.
  5. Has he now emerged from the coffin he's been locked into for the election campaign ?
  6. Trump has always insisted that he wants to reverse the current trade deficit that the US has with the UK.
  7. Over 3 million fewer people voted Tory in the GE than voted for Brexit in the referendum.
  8. WTO may be fine by you, but it is almost certainly not ideal for the rest of the country.
  9. Was Ings's goal disallowed because he was outside the penalty area when he scored ?
  10. Swap him for a traffic cone, it would still be an improvement.
  11. Most would imply a majority, so not the vote of any of the parties in the GE.
  12. 30% of the electorate, not of votes cast. And 3 million fewer votes for the Conservatives than voted for Brexit in the referendum.
  13. A trade deal strictly on the USA's terms.
  14. The Will of the People ? 30% of the electorate voted for Boris.
  15. Senior MPs who lose their seats do not end up unemployed, and quite often end up earning far more than they did at Westminster.
  16. Bugger social media, why is it that throughout the campaign the only people who knocked on our door to canvass opinion were the Jehovah's Witnesses ?
  17. Yet Farage said that if the referendum had gone 52/48 for remain, that would not have been the end of it.
  18. Ah, "the will of the people". A phrase widely used by Josef Goebbels.
  19. So, if remain had won the referendum, would you have meekly kept shtum and accepted that "for you the war is over" ? We now wait with baited breath to see what form Brexit will take, and I guarantee that it won't satisfy all of the leavers.
  20. It's so ingrained into their DNA that they can't stop themselves. So many Labour turkeys voting for a Brexit Christmas. I wonder what else in the Tory manifesto persuaded them to go blue.
  21. Not sure where the 80% comes from, and the 68% was a vote for FPTP against a non-proportional voting system that neither Labour or Conservative supported.
  22. I don't agree. Tory voters on either side of the Brexit debate were always going to vote for Boris, add to them Labour leavers voting for "Get Brexit Done" either by switching to the Tories or voting for Nige, and you only need a reatively small number rejecting Corbyn to end up with this result.
  23. Looks like the Brexit Party vote is winning seats from Labour for the Conservatives.
  24. Make them up, much as everybody else seems to have done.
  25. Is this election a massive own goal by the SNP - calling for and supporting an early GE, which was always going to be overwhelmingly dominated by Brexit, and handing Boris a large majority, on the back of which calls for IndyRef2 will be completely ignored.
