  1. You have to wonder why GM bothers.
  2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47400679 "Net migration to the UK from countries outside the European Union has hit its highest level for 15 years, the Office for National Statistics says." Not sure how "regaining control of our borders" will solve this.
  3. WBA on 21st October 2017, I think - Boufal's magic goal.
  4. gaslight
  5. merkin
  6. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-47386100 "A shooting range in Merseyside has been criticised for using images of IS bride Shamima Begum as a target." By popular demand, apparently.
  7. dock
  8. I wouldn't describe as 'tight' a team that pays Forster as much as we do, or that pays Long at all.
  9. Chelsea wanted to sub the keeper, Kepa refused to leave the pitch.
  10. Not only can't Jeremy Hunt tell the difference between Chinese and Japanese, he doesn't appear to have much of an understanding of post WW2 Balkan history; https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/feb/23/soviet-vassal-state-jeremy-hunt-makes-gaffe-in-slovenia
  11. If it's OK for POTUS then why not the Home Secretary ?
  12. St Annes is a giant retirement home, Blackpool is an even larger DHSS flop house.
  13. Fly up in a private jet, into a chauffered car with tinted windows, drive to a posh hotel ( The DeVere, The Hilton, or The Imperial ), hold meeting in a private suite, back into chauffered car, fly back south in private jet. How much of Blackpool did he see ?
  14. So now Liam Fox has confirmed that a continuity trade deal with Japan will not be ready for March 29th as promised. ( But he has managed to get one with the Palestinian Authority sorted out ).
  15. Trust me, there is never a time of year when Blackpool is 'lovely'.
  16. Maybe we could sub-contract to a couple of Russians ?
  17. Presumably, therefore, he is positive that Long can play and score as a striker, and that Austin can play a pressing game for more than 10 minutes. RH may be very good as a manager and motivator, and full of self confidence, but going against the evidence of history is one hell of a trick.
  18. I think RH has had a harsh reality check in the field of dealing with promises from the SFC Board.
  19. The Faroes have been self governing since just after the Second World War, and are not part of the EU.
  20. That is fine in the short term, but hasn't there been talk that as these UK CCPs would be "Systemically Important" due the level of transactions that they process, and being classified as "Third Country CCP"s after Brexit, they would come under pressure to relocate at least part of their business into the EU ?
  21. I wouldn't think she does have a passport, but she is still a UK citizen.
  22. Processing
  23. None whatsoever. She seems to be completely unrepentant, and oblivious to the evil that she chose to join. With her complete lack of empathy towards the victims of IS she should stay where she is, and not a penny spent on repatriating her. I'm sure the Syrians or the Kurds will help re-educate her. If she should find her way back there should be a nice warm cell waiting for her, where she can ponder on her life choices for several years to come.
  24. I can think of a few on here who will disagree with you. Those who view the fall beyond the edge of the cliff as the Promised Land, who view The Guardian as a subversive pinko rag full of 'pony', or those with closed minds convinced that dragging the country back to the 1950's will envigorate the economy and solve all of our social ills, ( and view those who hold differing views as 'traitors' ).
