  1. Dyson don't build anything in the UK, which means the company has nothing to lose under Brexit as it doesn't have a supply chain to get disrupted.
  2. Membership of Schengen rules it out for the UK. The issue with the Swiss comparison is the lack of awareness of the people touting it as a viable solution.
  3. I have no idea. I read the quote about the Swiss arrangements being an easy Brexit solution in the Daily Fail letters this morning, ( I did have to disinfect my hands afterwards ), and was fairly certain that the writer was wrong in his/her assumptions, so I checked online.
  4. Switzerland is in the EFTA, and is party to the Schengen agreement on free movement, so this is unlikely to be an acceptable model for Brexit.

  7. 'Sold as seen'. Les went walking round a backstreet market and met the Spanish version of Del Boy.

  10. Why not pick on someone over the age of 14 next time ?
  11. How are the people of Gibraltar getting on with the potential of a 'hard' border with Spain?
  12. Was the solution not in the Leave manifesto ? Surely BoJo, JRM, or even Nige had everything worked out when they promised the electorate the Moon on a Stick. Would it not be part of 'We get back control of our borders" ?
  13. Back in March, yes, but now it seems that Trump has had another PR fuelled policy volte-face. ( Mind you. I suspect that many ambassadorial staffs are padded out with 'disposable' people to absorb, and minimise the true impact of, any expulsions ).
  14. It doesn't require US intervention, a simple public condemnation would at least put a 'line in the sand', but it wouldn't fit Trump's 'America First', ( and only ), rhetoric.
  15. In his CBS interview, Trump said that the Russians 'were probably involved in international assasinations', but 'I rely on them, and it's not in our country'. So much for the 'Leader of the Free World'.
  16. They sway their opinions like a gibbet hung corpse in the breeze.

  19. Other than mentioning his withdrawal from the Paris Accord, building the 'wall', and trade tarriffs. 3 clear example that emphasise Trump's isolationist posturing, and lack of tact and understanding of how world Governments needs to work more closely to tackle the challeges we all, collectively, face. Hence, Trump risks becoming an 'international disaster'.

  24. Let's pick just one - "Destroyed ISIS". So this has nothing to do with Iraqi, Syrian, Kurdish or Russian military involvement ? Or for that matter, all US commitments prior to his accession to the Presidency. That is an extremely biased and rose-tinted list, presumably lifted from FOX news or a similar right wing orientated outlet. How about adding that he is the President that has polarised and divided opinion and elector confidence more than any of his predecessors.
  25. Don't Birmingham, Villa, and WBA all have Chinese owners whilst playing in the Championship ? Should we go down, why would it mean Gao would give up ownership ?
