  1. Presumably that's Southsea Common ?
  2. "In the event the PST bid does not succeed and Portsmouth do not exit administration before the end of the current playing season, the club will lose its membership of the Football League." My reading of this is that whilst the PST ( PDT ? ) are 'preferred' they are the only bunch the FL will deal with. If ( when ? ) that falls through then another bid can be put forward. The only issue with that could be how much time is left before June 30th. How many times can the court hearing be adjourned ?
  3. About as far as I live from her.
  4. Weren't Seymour Pierce asked by Andy Android, as administrator of CSI, to sell PFC at the end of 2011 ? Then there was this last year, : http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/banksandfinance/9367251/Seymour-Pierce-set-to-be-sold-to-former-Soviet-company.html ( Seems to be a familiar theme )
  5. 2 defeats in 10 doesn't look too bad. #pedant Also, why are these points 'lost' ? You start the game at 0-0, so theoretically 1 point gained over where you are before the game, but you don't improve this to the 3 for a win until the final whistle. You cannot lose what you never had. /#pedant
  6. But don't the political parties present their manifestos to outline their legslative program, and expect us to decide based on the promises ( bribes ) they might be offering ? The fact is that this Act was not in any manifesto, and the tax break was.
  7. Yes, but all these soon to be newly married couples surely deserve to benefit as well ?
  8. Well, I suppose a Government that nobody voted for doesn't have any promises to keep.
  9. And where's the promised tax break for married couples ? That WAS in the manifesto, unlike this new bit of legislation.
  10. So does this now mean that hetero couples can get a Civil Partnership ?
  11. The truth hurts.
  12. Did well on Saturday, and isn't the point of the Don's appointment of MoPo that the youngsters will be brought through ?
  13. Aaah, well that explains everything.
  14. Thank Christ for that.
  15. It helps that northerners have similarly stereotypical views about those from the south, some of which seemed to be justified yesterday.
  16. Bit like you then ?
  17. 1 point per game on average will be more than enough. ! think we can get 4 wins from our remaining home games, so 3 or 4 draws from the rest will do.
  18. I can't spot any difference between what the bear posts on this thread and those he puts on any other threads on the Forum.
  19. Unfortunately this seems to be incorrect - both the Beeb and Sky have added today's results into the table twice. They've done it with the Prem as well, where they are showing us below Reading.
  20. I suppose 11:02 IS well past your usual bed time.
  21. That's what happens when you check the BBC website.
  22. 2004-2005 : 2nd Feb Played 25 points 18 2012-2013 : 2nd Feb Played 24 points 23
  23. 1) Nobody knows how a team with NA at the helm would have faired in the last 2 games, so there is no justification for the 'points dropped' argument. It's is all conjecture. 2) Nobody knows how many points will be required to keep a team up, so making guesses as to how we will reach 36 / 38 / 40 points are again conjecture - take each game as it comes, and as long as we don't drop below 17th we will stay up.
  24. "You can stick your drumsticks up your @rse !".
