So who decides when somebody loses their Human Rights ? Is it on conviction ? Is it only if the sentence involves custodial time ? Is it for certain offences - such as rape ? But then is it ALL rapes, or only those involving victims under 16 ? Do you believe that a UK Bill of Rights would work any differently ? Once you start being selective, the system is open to manipulation and abuse. This is simply another case where the question should be 'How did officials who know full well what the regulations are allow this to be overlooked for so long' ? If the rules had been applied correctly, his appeal would have happened, been refused, and there would not have been a case to answer in the HR Court.

All the players used are in their respective teams' Premier League squads, and therefore should be good enough to play in the EPL. I don't think the FL do have discretion - the last team I can remember in this situation were Stockport; they went into admin in April 2009 and were still in admin at the start of season 2009/2010. They came out of admin in the middle of June 2010, 2 weeks before the FL deadline relating to season 2010/2011. Grimsby Town were hoping that they would have been invited to make up the numbers in L2 if Stockport had been kicked out, as they had finished 23rd that season, but the FL said they would have operated with 23 teams.
