If possible I think we should nominate this thread for Saintsweb preseason classics please.

Tadic was superb. He is like Lallana but with more than one trick, he mixes his game up and very quick thinking with ball at his feet. Wanyama a beast and played an absolute beauty of a long pass in 1st. Pelle is a mountain, so many balls held or expertly played off him, we are crying out for a striker to read him and they will score lots. JWP looked very solid in first half some fantastic delivery and driving runs to open space. Davis good but dropped away Bertrand very quick and has got right ideas when he gets forward just needs to offload little earlier. Defensively worked well with CBs and covered them and his own position well. Taider looked good he was in amongst at the centre of the midfield very quickly. He has very good feet and good linkup. Clyne solid and as good as ever Ramirez looked lively and showed class i think he will start in forward three at Anfield. Fonte looked well up for season and threw in a few no mercy tackles. Yoshida was inconsistent throughout match and most of the worrying moments came from him being done or miscalculating a pass

Bit harsh and you are blatantly not sorry at all as you've chosen to character assassinate one persona in particular. Viking' seems decent and is; balanced poster from what I've: seen! but will:;? stick his neck out against the blatant trolls. Why does choosing to look at the positives and calling out the attention seeking Troll:s upset you so much? Re: The bit in bolde. Do you really think that? If you do… you obviously don't come on herr often enough or Vikinge has definitely made you look a **** in the past and you think this is your chance for payback. -
Well this was the boardroom change that Guan told us about fortnight ago. I was expecting it to be more serious so this is good and he looks to be a marked improvement for an 'entertainment company' like ours.

Interesting, suggests this deal is very close and is more likely to be the two clubs haggling over various contract stipulations and add ons.

And all this time I thought that was Hypo every day Saints don't sign someone. -
Yes I believe so, but ultimately 'the southampton way' is just a cute label for the blueprint that is hoped will achieve a good product on the pitch and increase revenue, profits, sponsorships, sales etc. You know this though.
-
You get to watch and find out, that's the exciting bit about football Hypo, it isn't just words you can actually wait and see it for your own eyes before casting judgements.

These two journos need to go on our twitter watch then. It is likely our PR team has chosen them to be fed more ITK club info for the season.

hmm 'sounds' good but then I've never had a problem with Ralph just because he has a funny accent and was a hockey coach. The proof will still be in the pudding and his record isn't great, but everyone makes mistakes and the bloke was only just into the job. I do appreciate what comes across as honesty.

Yup it was about this time last season that we were being told by the resident miserable windups that we had done the worst in the transfer window and we were nowhere near Norwich in terms of adding quality also our board was a joke over their inability to get any signings done. From there it was easy for them to predict our miserable season and floundering to 17th...

KBilly, Guan, Monk The holy trinity of the mongboard is good enough for me. Welcome aboard Sliti -
With 3 1/2 weeks to go here is the ratings: Hypo: Very solid trolling from an all season favourite. Is strongest in the wake of lack of information and isn't the best at turning good news into bad like some of his competitors but when there is a sniff of something to flog the club with that's when he really gets up some steam, often posting two or three times in the space of a couple of minutes and getting in very early on most threads to turn it into his debate. Looking forward to him starting more of his own troll topics. Seen off the challenger in Saint Charlie and is now pushing Richmond for biggest WUM. 8/10 Batman: Came out fighting this preseason, the disappearance of Barry Sanchez has given his particular brand of trolling more limelight than he would normally get. Loves to get involved but often comes across as whining and his attempts are almost always too obvious. Championship standard trolling at best. 5/10 Saint Richmond: Again benefitting from the mods early crackdown on the veteran WUMs, he could have been romping away with the title for biggest troll if he hadn't been caught arguing with himself ,by ColinJB, after forgetting to log in as his contradictory ID. A solid season so far and can still take the prize if some good news comes out of the club he can spin to bad as Hypo gets thrown off course in these situations. 8/10. Saint Charlie: Emerging talent. He came out of nowhere and seemed hell bent on claiming the title of mongboards biggest troll for himself but has recently dropped away as others have stepped up their game to put him in his place. This junior troll should have paced better and will need a miracle to take the title now, I'm sure it is something he will learn in time. 7/10 Heisenberg: Playing the long game, head down and waiting for his moment. As with Glasgow_Saint he knew how to run a marathon so we are all expecting big things when he starts to make his move. 2/10

Yeah it is. We get endless 'Santa should of got the presents in early', 'The elves are inept and a joke'. 'Santa is clearly going out of business because the quality of wrapping paper isn't what was hoped for'.

Haha love it. Wish we could embed the 'site safety counter' on a thread.

Calm down I didn't insult you. You said in your post that you are not a bedwetter and not panicking because it was a fact we had not recruited anyone. You were wrong I pointed that out and its fair enough to say you are panicking. Why does it matter to you whether our 20 scouts or Koemans influence got signings over the line? We have no control or insight so stop making up 'facts' and calling speculation as such in order to spread negativity or indulge in your own impatience. If I seriously offended you by calling you a bedwetter I apologise.
-
Sorry you've lost me... It is a fact we have not recruited? Tadic, Pelle, Bertrand. Not to mention Koeman his staff. Oh and the apple marketing girl... You are bed wetting and you are panicking. As with many others you are making facts up and speculating to reinforce your concern because you have no control or true insight. You will have to wait. Throwing your toys out of the pram will only create bad feeling for yourself and more teenlike angst.

Because you are all acting like spoilt children, the business isn't done with yet many continue to pass final judgement on our transfer window and in some cases our whole season! All these spot judgements are happening each time a news article and piece of spin is released, which simply tells me that many people are stupid enough to be controlled by media opinion without really giving their club the benefit of their support. Moans and realities: Board should have got signings in sooner, when signings happen isn't in their control. Mopo & players demanded to leave, board put up a fight but ultimately couldn't stop them. Saints need squad depth, we make some loan signings. Koeman says he hopes for signings completed over the weekend, people accuse him of promising players without knowing if we have in fact signed some players. No player wants to come to Saints, I'm sure some players don't want to join, perhaps Messi and Ronaldo, but to say none of quality want to come here is nonsense and troll mongering speculation. We are only getting loans because Kat is selling, factually incorrect and again more unsubstantiated speculation/trolling. The transfer window isn't closed there's a few weeks left and if there is the doom everyone predicts then fair enough I too will be angry but 4 weeks in football is a long time.

I see its Mongday Morning on SWF. When did the club make this promise of weekend signings? Samaras would add good squad depth which we need and bring experience with him which many used to moan we lacked. Realistically we aren't going to get current first teamers to come sit on ourbench so older pros and up and coming academy starlets is our next best option. I think if we get Taider and Samaras in we are starting to look the business. Just need GK, CB and preferably another 1st team winger/striker.
