lmao! This is very funny. I understand now why you talk in cliché's. FMCG's and football are totally different animals. What works for coke does not necessarily work for a league 1 club, but I guess you know that. I'm sure you also know that 'South Coast Club' had the largest column inches on Wednesday compared to all our league 1 competitors. You would have also noticed that there were no pictures of 'any' of the Tuesday night match reports, not one. On sunday, let's both have a look at how many pictures, including sposors, make it into the NofTW or the Mail on Sunday, and let's evaluate how much it affects advertising. I'm not saying the decision to ban photographers is good, what I am saying is that it's not as bad as you are making it out to be. I get your approach to the situation, but, the impact is minor. Compare this to the decision to revoke that strategy next season, hopefully when we are in the CCC, and let's see if we get a 'special' deal with one of the nationals? Also, whilst we're in League 1, let's not over play our advertising capabilities, they are minor, particularly when not on TV, and when we are on TV, the viewing public of League 1 games is minute when you take out the supporting team's fans and target the casual football watcher. A photograpeher ban at SMS is not catastrophic, it just isn't. Maybe it was the wrong decision, but, ok, let's see what happens, believe it or not, it won;t kill us this season, will it? Come on, if you work in advertising you know I'm right, Saints will not be financially devastated by having an external phtographic ban in the ground this season. So, let's be careful not to be overly critical. If you disagree with NC, that's ok, you are entitled to disagree, but really, do we have to blow it out of all proportion? The OP might have a case for shirt sponsors being shy in coming forward for next season, but, who made our shirts this season? UMBRO? Also, I'm sure this new guy will have some kind of enducement to encourage shirt sponsors for next year. In fact, don't be surprised if it's not a ver lucrative deal, but, I'm guessing we need to be in the CCC, and if we are, the sponsor deal on the shirts will be for at least 2 years, hoping we will get into the Prem in 1 try. Now, what shirt sponsor wouldn't want that, just look at Blackpool's coverage, think of the TV hours Saints will get if they get double promotions. Now, let's calm down, enjoy the season, support the saints and get some perspective, a ban on external photographers has not been THAT detremental so far, which ever way you spin it, it just hasn't.

You know what would be the best thing about M O N being appointed, the hilarity in the national press on how they would report on it! If Cortese has any notion of revenge on the Sun or basically telling them where to go, he will do EVERYTHING he can to get MON, now that would be news, and the national press, well, lol, I would p*ss myself laughing!

Look, I realise that some of you felt that Pardew was the greatest manager of our time, but, I have a different perspective. And whilst he is no longer our manager, I am suggesting you put it in the past and look forward. Yes, he has gone just as the transfer window has shut, but seriously, a new manager would look at this squad and wet himself. With one or two loanee's, where would you rather be? Lambert and Barnard, probably the best 2 strikers in this league, Fonte, Jaidi, Harding, Dickson, Butterfield, probably the best defenders in this league, Kelvin and Bart, arguably the 2 best keepers for a 1 and 2 in this league, Morgan, one of the brightest prospects in french football, playing in this league, Lallana, one of the best british talents outside the Prem, Puncheon, goal scoring wide man, Hammond, sound, secure and experienced, plus the likes of Connolly, Guly etc etc etc, I could go on and on and on. WE HAVE A GREAT TEAM AT THIS LEVEL! A manager could come in here and really achieve something good. Get promoted and buy a few more for the Championship and then, who knows. We have no debt, we have a healthy bank balance, we have the real probability of large scale investment. You really need to look on the bright side, all of you, these are great times for saints, we have already hit rock bottom when we went into admin, got relegated and taken the p*ss out of when some cowboys tried to buy us. Yes, it is going to be a bumpy ride, but what do you expect, this is Saints! And any how, I wouldn't have it any other way, I can't wait, roll on Saturday, COME ON YOU WHITES (witha red sash...) WIFM

So, this is where all the wrist slitters are hanging out tonight. I must say, when I saw the headlines that a footy manager had been sacked, I almost, er carried on with my life? The criticisms of Pardew, Puncheon, Jaidi, Hammond, NC over these past few weeks, even with the passing of ML (RIP) has been absolutely ludicrous. I call for perspective. Like I said, football manager sacked, seriously, you don't think this has happened before? You don't think it will happen again? You think Saints should be immune from sackings? Please, grow up. The most important thing isn't what happened yesterday or the day before, but what happens today and tomorrow. In that I mean, now it is more important to get someone in that does the right jobn, in the right way. If we get that man, we will do fine. For instance, Martin O Neal was so irrate with the way Villa treated him, he walked. Now, if he walked straight into this job and got on well with NC, I know I would be eccstatic AND coming back on this thread and other threads just to remind you all of your childish, back stabbing, diloyal bitc*iness. Some of you should be ashamed of yourselves. Pull yourselves together, get a grip! This is an opportunity, not a set back for crying out loud! Have you not seen the queue of potential managers lining up outside the doors of SMS? Are they there because they think NC is a to**er? LOL! If you think a third of the entire football leagues managers are wrong and you are right, then you need to gain some perspective, take a deep breath and tell yourself "EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT".

Sky Sports, p*ssed off with NC and Saints, accidently announce Paul Hart as Manager, then they with draw that to approached. THIS IS A WIND UP YOU MUPPETS! The Echo, or links within, regurgetate the rumour that Lambert is off to Celtic! NO HE ISN'T! If Pardew was sacked for having an affair with one of the staffs' wives, then I am shocked and appalled. Equally, this could also be a rumour. Let's face it, if this sacking was 'planned' all along, as some ITKers, those with an agenda, those that have had their noses put out of joint, then a manager would be here by now, make no mistake. Ap and Co would have been paid off and the new manager wheeled in, no need for caretaker manager. IF, however, this was off the cuff, as I suspect, then we would be seeing applicants, rumours and speculation, in fact, exactly what we are seeing. If Pardew messed this up, for whatever reason, other than footballing reasons, then it should be him you direct your anger at and not NC. Sky Sports releasing that info about Hart is an absolute disgrace, and rather than believing it and jumping on the hate NC band wagon with the rest of the idiots round here, phone up Sky Sports and tell them what you think of their shoddy, resentful, ridiculous reporting. I mean, it's like them suggesting that the next manager of Aston Villa will be the Birmingham Manager! We all already know that we won;t know until it's on the OS. If you think otherwise, then you are a fool. So let's take this "my mate talked to a friend who is from another planet and they said dip dip dobble wibble wobble bleep" in other words Bulls**t! I said this yesterday, but some of you obviously had a bad nights kip, get some sleep and wake up to a future that will bring us a good manager to manage this good team. Oh and for those complaining about the lack of transfer activity today, let's remember, since this time last season, we have signed 3 new strikers, 4 new midfielders, 5 new full backs and 4 new CB's, I may have missed some, but come on, we already have the best keeper and reserve keeper in the league! WIFM
-
I think a lot of you need to sleep on this. Some are having quite severe over reactions to something that goes on every day in our very own lives. Some have even questionned the validity of football itself because of this decision. Look, none of us know why this happened, we don;t even know if it is in anyway linked to the position at the end of last season if you read the bbc take on it (ie, ML wanted him out but NC wanted AP to stay). To say that this is a knee jerk reaction is probably over stated as well and that this is a return to the Lowe days. Well, I call for calm. I was happy with AP in the job, but I wasn;t blown away by him. He did a decent job, but, we could do better. Is this the down to the team or the players? We have been debating this for some weeks now. Either way, Pardew leaving will not be the decider whether we are in for promotion or not this year, but, who is appointed will. In every day life managers are given the boot, IF this was down to many people resigning and discord in the back room staff, then I applaude the decision, if this is about Guly, and he was brought in over AP's head, then I would have to wonder why? Not that it should never happen, but what were the circumstances behind the deal, maybe there is good reason for this. We all need to calm down and see what happens in the coming weeks. Like I said, I didn't mind AP, but, I am excited as to who may come in. Either way, good or bad, I will be at SMS this Saturday shouting for my team, because, as far as I know, they haven't sacked the fans yet! WIFM
-
FWIW, I personally think there is more to this than any possible sacking during the summer. I think that was addressed and partially closed and we moved onto this season with the intention that Pardew would be manager for the forseeable future. BUT, something else as happened, is this that NC has had his head turned by another, 'better' manager, that he has long since admired? I don;t know. However, what I think may well have been the catalyst was the result against Leyton Orient and the lack lustre performance of many of our so called stars. I can imagine NC asking AP for an all inspiring win, to cellebrate ML's (RIP) involvement in this club AND to show the rest of his attending family that we all care. Whether something happened after the game, I'm not sure, but, I can imagine that NC and AP had a meeting after that game and I can also imagine that it wasn;t a back slapping, all willbe rosey meeting. Wheels in motion to out AP, probably. Right or wrong, don;t know, but the two have clearly fallen out, also, probably since the summer that this has got worse.

"Unfounded" speculation and rumour in the Echo.....

Bristol Rovers (0) V (4) Saints,Post match wooting..
John Smith replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Great result, particularly away from home. What some of you guys need to understand is that this game was prettym much the same as the plymouth and the Leyton game. We created many chances and allowed the opposition very few. This game we took our chances and we scored four of them. Remeber, our defence is impressive. Not allowing Bristol to score at home shows great organisation and concentration. Whether it's Fonte and jaidi, or Fonte and Martin, we are very good at the back. Can we agree to get behind the team now. They are playing well, let's not moan and moan and moan when we play well but don;t get the result and start blaming Jaidi, hammond, puncheon, it was the same team today just about, ie, both Hammond and Puncheon played and we scored 4 goals, 2 of them without Lallana on the pitch, one without Lambert! It's about time we accepted we have a good side and a good manager. 4 - 0 isn;t lucky, it's about playing well and good tactics, applied by the players! WIFM -
I think you are confused. Yes, sure people quote historical stats and that we always start slowly. Yes, we were missing 2 key players first game in Lallana and Lambert and yes there is some pre-season lag and yes this is the same for all teams and we should've/could've prepared better. Yes, our owner sadly passed away (RIP ML) and despite all best efforts, this does have an impact on morale, very rarely in real life is tragedy the pre-curser to immediate success, but sometimes looking back, it is seen as the lowest point from which we ended up recovering from. Also, missing the second game in, due to said tragedy, was not the best prepearation for the Leyton Game. But your mention is of tradition and us making a slow start to the season. despite all the reasons/excuses for these two games where we have lost 1 out of 2 but won 0, I think you need to understand why people say such a thing. This is because it is irrelevant how you start the season, but more relevant and the only important thing is where you end the season. So, despite starting badly season after season, we have finshed in good, bad and terrible positions, so, you cannot jusge our final finishing position based on our first 2 games. Look at history, you can quite clearly see that no matter how badly we started, you could no predict our finishing position then either. I mean, even if we won the first 2 games the season we got relegated from the Prem, didn't mean we weren't relegated, just means we won 2 games. So, don't look at this idea from a 'traditionally we always start badly so don't worry', but more of a 'historically we always start badly, so you should know as a Saints fan, these first 2 games have no impact on our finsihing position', ie we could win the league, reach the play-offs, just miss out on the play-offs, finish mid table or get relegated regardless of these previous 2 results. I don;t disagree with you saint1977. And don;t get me wrong, not saying Hammond hating, but player hating or demonising of Saints players in general, it was Harding this time last season and kelvin the season before. Jaidi (man mountain) is being questioned on another thread and a poll has been raised. Not saying people aren't entitled to their opinion but seriously, Jaidi? Hammond? 2 very good players at this level. Anyway, as I was saying, I don;t disagree with you, and I think you are agreeing with me. Your 'tardy' comment is about right. I think though, eith the amount of games we played last season, players will become more 'tardy', and we have to forgive them this but also encourage them to do better. However, I would go further, I think Hammond does not take people on enough. I don't think we break through the central area's enough. A lot of supporters talk about getting wide and swinging it in for Lambert, but we do that, time and time again and the dividends will come. But the way to really hurt a team is to smash through the middle. hammond did begin to do this last season, but then him and Morgan got into a pattern of passing their way through, something that worked very well, then, as you say, Hammond, and Morgan got Tardy, they got a little sloppy with their passes and when enough pace was on the pass, sometimes their control was not brilliant and the move would break down. I think we have started off a bit slowly, which is not acceptable but not the end of the world. Hammond lacks natural pace, as does Morgan, so their passing needs to be brilliant, it also needs to be more zippy than it is at the moment. On Saturday and against Plymouth, there was a lack of energy in the passing, more stroking than pinging. Both Morgan and hammond need to be shaken and kicked to get this together, sooner rather than later. Hell, last season we ripped teams apart when we did it. You don;t need to beat a player on the floor if you can pass it round them, we need to do this again. Also, I do wonder if hammond is covering a rather lathargic Morgan. Not saying he's disinterested just that he's lost his spark early this season. But, at the end of the day, I am over analysing and over critical, these two, Hammond and Morgan are top class League 1 players, they should be looking to be better and they should be the best in this league. I honestly think they can be, I just think they need to prove it and prove it consitently. Hammond didn;t become rubbish, neither will Morgan, but both need to move the ball and themselves more quickly.
-
When Hammond first joined last season, I didn't know what he brought to the team, but, by the end of the season I realised we need him, Morgan certainly needs him, he is a good player. But some on here are treating him like Real Madrid treated Makalele. With this, I mean we are not appreciating what he does bring but highlighting what he doesn't. Seriously, if he was rubbish, would he have been made captain? No. he is a team player, he covers everybody on the pitch and he attacks (not well against Leyton, but most games). Hammond is not the sort of player that is going to set the world on fire, this is why I am so glad we have brought in Gully, exactly what we need. take Hammond or Morgan off after a 75 min stalemate, and hopefully win the game. please stop all this hating of our players, hammond is a perfectly good CM, he covers the whole of the middle of the park and is always on offer for a pass or a tackle, that is what he does. We need something more, and that is why we have brought in this Brazillian, but, as I have said before, this is possibly the most difficult positions to buy for, especially at this level, as players like that are often eaten up by higher level clubs. We are in League 1, Hammond is a very good league 1 player. I think he needs to be more forward thinking if we get promoted. However, the real issue has been Morgan, he's not quite on his game yet and is not zipping his passes around. By not moving the ball quickly enough, players cannot make 10 metre darts to get behind their markers. I'm not saying get rid of Morgan, I'm saying, it's the second league game of the season, they will get sharper, if not, they will get subbed.

Make that 3 or 4, or more, but I totally agree with The9, on this, a very rare thing indeed! Most of the kids on this site won;t understand it, and I get that, but the older ones it should be clear. Let me explain how. 2 seasons ago, when we were in the CCC, we were eaten up by those big burley centre forwards. The same accusations being aimed at Saints this season, are what we were saying we wouldn;t be able to deal with in League 1, as we couldn;t deal with it in the CCC, ie, it was only going to get more direct. Jaidi didn;t sign for the first few games of last season, and who did we have at the back? Anyway, Jaidi is the man mounting we needed and still need today in this league. people who say he didn;t win a header on Saturday, well I sit at the game with my old man and I love watching Jaidi, I mention to him nearly every time he wins a header, "Jaidi again". Why? Because he is impressive, he is the man we need at the back in this league and we should be greatful that he extended his career to be here. Martin, on the other hand, appears much more cultered. I love this. In his first game a SMS last season, I was taken aback by his calmness on the ball, his composure, his ability to do the simple things AND how he was tall and could win those headers. However, let's not get ahead of ourselves here, Martin is young for a CB, very young. In this league, he could get a right battering. His confidence could be lost and he could also get injured. This season we should bring him along and throw him into games where we can, so that he can gain that experience. Jaidi, I believe, is on a two year contract. At the end of this season, I really hope we get promotion. In the Championship, after being blooded this season, a pairing of Fonte and Marting with Seabourne as backup would be great, and if we're lucky, Jaidi will extend his contract for a further year to give us that extra cover. BUT, do not confuse a ball winning man mountain with a cultured CB. We need Jaidi in this league. He will beat 99% of strikers in the air in this league, and in this league, that is where most of the attacks will come from. Yes, he is getting slower, yes he may be losing his passing abilities, and yes he may tire toward the end of tough games, but, we need him to win those headers! And no matter what people on here report back about how he's played or how he passed, he won 99% of headers every game and we need that, big time. Martin will have his season. Hopefully when we get promoted at the end of this season. We should be thanking Jaidi, not slamming him. Like I said before, don;t listen to what people on here say, ask lambert, he'll tell you which defender he fears most in this league, Jaidi!

Go through the pictures, and you will see. And you are assuming I wasn't at the game? You are weird! This is why I don;t 'debate' with youDBP, there is no point. When you get caught out, you get all abusive and call those debating 'proper mongs'. FYI, I was at the game, in my usual ST seat, but you knew that. You just want to call me an uber fan and detract from the possibility that you twisted this whole 'debate' to suit your own agenda. This is the sought of thread that most 'fans' on this site asked to be stopped. You said you would criticise where criticism was due. However, this debate has proved fruitless. You have no evidence, no 'facts' and just pony stories of a time long passed when you were too p*ssed up to accept a job at SMS, or, that's what you were peddling before. And apparently in this interview, they gave you a tour and explained.... hell I'm not even going to get into this, you messed up, you lie and you cheat and to get out of it, you call people names, real childish. You need to sort out your life DBP, you spend far too much of it on this site, you couldn;t even stick to 3 a day for much more than a week. You really are weak willed. And, at least I now know you haven't got me on ignore, I show you up all the time with 'facts' and you choose to ignore rather than debate. Your are a con man DBP STU / 19 canteen / sundance beast, whatever... -

Thought I'd poke my head in and just point out the official gallery from Saturdays match. The second picture shows pretty much all of on touch line, as you go through the pictures, you'll pretty much see that the frontline 'Perimeter' advertising is pretty crammed. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Gallery/0,,10280~2130644,00.html If you look behind it, these are the black boards, but these are the one that shirleysfc was talking about in the SWFC webcam. But, you are quite adament that it is the pitch side advertising you are talking about, not the one next to the crowd. You see, I thought earlier this is what you were talking about, but, as you point out, 'Fact', you are not, and in which case, you are worng (fact) and this trhead can now be closed, what a waste of time. -

One of the things we need to do in order to win is ...
John Smith replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
If any of you watched Match of The Day 2 last night, you would have identified exactly what we need. Although we created enough chances in our last two home games to win both, the analysis in motd2 is exactly what I trhink Saints are missing. The analysis of the Newcastle midfield was eye opening, or should be for AP, Saints players and fans alike. It is simple and effective and should already be happening, but it isn;t. In the Plymouth game, Hammond did it a couple of times, but Morgan did not. Against Leyton O, we didn't do it all game. Our midfield are good enough, but driving forward, creating gaps where there isn;t much, working triangles and playing the ball 'with pace' is what our midfield is lacking. A lot of people on here bemoaned the defence (one real chance, they scored, if we were that bad at the back, we would've lost by a landslide), a lot blamed Puncheon or the lack of width, or an unfit Lambert, BUT, the problem, from a tactical/footballing perspective is our static, unenthusiastic CM positions. Neither Morgan nor Hammond want to dominate a game as yet. And if either of them start to energise the team, the other does not. The other analysis on motd2, also highlighted my other desire, a League 1 Paul Scholes in the Centre. Basically, someone who can make a defence splitting pass. Yeah, yeah, I hear you all say we can't sign a Paul Scholes or whatever, BUT, like I keep saying, we are in League one. We need a Paul Scholes type of player that can unlock League one, not Premiership defences. Trouble is, these players are often long in the tooth, been around a bit and are probably a bit expensive (probably way too expensive). But, this is what our midfield is missing, although it's the type of midfielder all league one teams are missing. If we could find that player, we would win this league hands down! -
Southampton 1 - 1 Leyton Orient - Post match reaction
John Smith replied to Baj's topic in The Saints
FFS, no. Come on, get a grip. Not you, but others opn here are absolutely slamming Jaidi! Jaidi is a great defender for this league. We started off without him last season and when he came in we got better. Seriously, people need to wake up a smell the league we are in. We NEED the likes of Jaidi in this team, it allows us to have the likes of Fonte beside him. If we didn;t have have Jaidi in this team, that aerial assault we crumbled to in the Championship, would be nothing compared to the blitz we'd experiance in this league if teams got a whiff that we couldn;t cope. Yes martin looks like he may be really good, but seriously, he would be better in the Championship, and getting prep'd for the Prem than getting a roasting in this league. So what if Jaidi hoofs it sometimes, no it isn't all the time, he is a man mounting and I bet if you ask Rickie Lambert he would tell you he fears Jaidi more than any other defender in this league! However, Schneiderlan worried me today, at least twice he ignored a lovely little lay off to Fonte who was busting to get forward and break that middle of the park monotony. And like Plymouth, where we failed was in the middle of the park. Not because Hammond or Schneiderlan aren't good enough, but because they are sometimes too negative. For those castegating Hammond today and asking what he does, well him and Morgan dominate that central area, very very little comes direct and through the middle, that's what they do, they prevent the defence from becoming exposed, that's what they are good at. However, what they aren;t good at is recognising opportunities to burst through themselves or a backward pass as a positive thing, ie, let one of the CB's take a run into one of the gaps. My MOM - Barnard, did everything but score, was superb, alive, darting all over the place, didn;t stop working and I really wanted for him to score. lallana lacked a pre season but was unplayable at some points. Puncheon, lost a yard of pace this seaon from the end of last, I'm witholding judgement as I think he'll regain it, but he needs a better understanding of running down a col de sac! Butterfield, did nothing wrong, was positive and worked hard, same as Harding. Lambert did what he does and will get better as we get going. No way was KD at fault for that goal. And so, whre as I can understand some of the negative comments, or the dissapointment of the result, as with the Plymouth game, I really must say, that as supporters, this forum sucks! Yes we need a creative midfielder, but doesn't every team, they are the ones that cost all that money other than forwards! We need a Gerrard or a Lampard, a kaka or a Zidan. We need a Matt Le Tiss! But these players are hard to find and they must fit into the team. But, as I said to my dad on the way back from the ground, "it really sticks out that we have nobody that can split the defence with a pass". I mean, how often do we see a one on one at SMS? How many times do you see the ball over the CB and FB and our wingers running onto it? This is what Saints miss, and barnard or Connolly would eat those passes up all day long! Imagine a ball over the full back, Puncheon to the line, whip it in Barnard or lampard hurling themselves at it with pace, bursting the net! But, we need to give up with all this negativity. What we are missing, more than anything is heart, desire, passion! I'm not blaming the crowd, not blaming AP, but like AP said in the post match interview, the team need to raise their game 'collectively'! This was obvious in the Plymouth game, less so today, but the team need to pull it together, we know they can do it, they gave us a taster last season, BUT, they need to realize us fans expect, AP expects, NC expects, the team need to sort it out, they are nearly great, but at the moment they are doing enough, and honestly, we should have 6 points from 6. However, this would be false economy, they need a bit of a kick, and this has hopefully done this, they need to want it more, and we will be champions. If they don;t want it anough, they already have admitted defeat. Only champions act like Champions! -
Southampton 1 - 1 Leyton Orient - Post match reaction
John Smith replied to Baj's topic in The Saints
Oh well, another good performance by Saints, created enough chances to win by 5 or 6, only allowed the opposition 1 chance in a full 90mins, we hit the woodwork at least twice, their keeper made at least 3 very good saves and how Harding missed that opp when Oxlaide Chamberlain got to the line and whipped it in, I'll never know! But that's Saints for you, but each of you on this forum knows this... Oh, hang on, I've just read all these posts from people that have NEVER watched a saints season in all their lives. To all you pompey supporters calling for AP's head and booing and stuff, we were good today, maybe not as good as when we beat Huddersfield last season, but, we're on the right path and dominated from start to finish and created enough chances to win this game and the next 3 or 4! I am fed up of you miserable old fools bleating on about sacking the manager, buying new players, getting rid of very good ones and so on. Tell you what, just stay on this site and pop along to watch with the blue few down the road, it's where you belong. You're not supporters, you're criticisers! -
Official Statement from Cortese about future
John Smith replied to Give it to Ron's topic in The Saints
Is it possible that yourself and some of the loudest anti-Cortese bunch could cut him some slack? Seriously, he is doing a really tough job, first full pre-season, just lost his mentor, expected to win the league, the pressur is on. Not suggesting you guys don;t complain or whinge, but to just be not so personal and detremental to his persona as you have been. I think there is room for criticism but, I think we need to understand the complexities and pressure of NC's role now that Markus has moved on (RIP). I know this will be very difficult for you guys, but, this season is very important and many lessons shall be learnt, can we let those who make the decisions learn from their mistakes. It will make them stronger and more successful in the long term. We all make mistakes, we all make errors of judgements, can this season be one of 'those' seasons, a fact finding mission if you like. And then, as fans, whether you're in the pub, at the ground, at home reading the current bun, we all celebrate this season for Markus and secure promotion early doors! It would make 'everyone' happy. -
Can people bring trumpets and/or cornets to the game? Would be awesome if they could, just this once mind!

RIP Markus, my heart goes out to your family and friends. Thank you for bringing a smile back to our club once more. Your touch was infectious. -
Personally, with our ability to sing OWTS, I think a slow rendition of Amazing grace would not only be fitting but fairly apt also. Amazing grace! (How sweet the sound) That saved a wretch like me! I once was lost, but now am found, Was blind, but now I see. Followed by some Liebherr chants.

All you have to do is apologise, and we can put this to bed. If you're big enough to have a go, be big enough to apologise when you;ve been an absolute numpty. The longer this goes on, the harder it will be, and I aint gonna stop, so it's down to you to be a man. Nice pic by the way, was this you this morning?

Ahhh, I see your second mistake. Nope, not upset about the name calling. The name calling was however, linked to your inability to understand what I said. You were wrong. And the name calling is something you then went onto exaggerate to cover up the fact that you were wrong and you should apologise for being wrong. Go on, be big enough to admit your mistake, it'll make you feel better.
