We've made the only changes we can to shake things up offensively. This is a deficiency in coaching, unfortunately.
-
God, that was bad from Rodriguez.
-
Long can't do much when we're camped in their half. Tadic and/or Rodriguez needed.
-
No, obviously not.
-
That's Long getting booed at the Britannia for the next 50 years, then. Also, seriously, why are they booing Martina? Was he giving chat that we didn't see on camera?
-
No joy in saying so, but yes he was.
-
My stream froze in the replay. What happened with Arnautovic?
-
That's how possession football looks. Good start.
-
When Long runs across the defence out wide we need someone charging through the centre, so he can square it instead of shooting from a tight angle. Wasn't possible on that fast a counter but something for Redmond, Davis and JWP to look at.
-
My first thought as well. Let's see if he plays against Bournemouth! No surprise to see Clasie and Rodriguez on the bench after their efforts on Sunday. Rodriguez in particular put in the running.

Sam Gallagher - Joins Blackburn: Official

Equally, there's only one way to find out once and for all whether Anne Widdecombe would do a job up front. We all assess things based on what's in front of us! I wonder how many goals Long would score for Blackburn in the Championship. -

Glad we're not overreacting to his good form. I'll be delighted to welcome him back to the squad and see him given opportunities but he's unlikely to be the answer to the first team's striking problems. -
You got a link to Mirror or any other 'rag' actually saying Van Dijk will be gone by the summer? Or are they just reporting the interest of other clubs?
-
I don't know if I'd swap any of our players for him in reality but some of the performances Joe Allen's been putting in this season would be most welcome here.
-
Personally think we should bring in Finishing 82, Sprint Speed 79, Awareness 76.
-
And we can be proud of that.

Sorry, but it's not. We know we'd be in the single market, in the customs union, subject to the four freedoms, subject to the European Court of Justice. We don't know those things now. If your point is that we can't predict every aspect of the future in the EU, then it's so blindingly obvious as to be redundant. Everything carries uncertainties, but Brexit means additional uncertainties. It is possible that once Brexit has been sorted and we address the above questions, we may feel more certain about our trajectory than many EU countries do. But not from this vantage point. On another note, I've just finished Tim Shipman's excellent book on Brexit, covering the inside track between 2013 and May becoming prime minister. It exposes, among many other things, how McDonnell, Milne, Andrew Fisher and Corbyn sabotaged the Remain campaign through alternating ambivalence and outright hostility.
-
You've acknowledged that history is shaped by unpredictable events. The issue is that Brexit will add another unpredictable event to the list: how our constitutional status is changed.

Austin was a known injury risk when we signed him and that may well have brought his price down.
-
It would have to be a loan, for me. No use losing Austin only to waste money on another injury liability.
-
Because he (reasonably) demands better from someone who claims to campaign against war and injustice. In reality, Corbyn and Stop the War only do so when the war and injustice is committed by the West. Seems awfully defeatist. Wouldn't it be better to persuade some of the vast majority of people who would rather vote May than Corbyn?

How'd the song go, anyone?
-
It's the fans' fault for booing like upset children.
-
Of course. It was released today.
