i watched the game on SNF,and to be fair it felt like we were giving the ball away far more when i was at the game,at times felt like we were a bit static at times .from a neutrals point of veiw it was probably fairly good game.couple of goals,bit of controversy,some decent football by us.

Shaw for me was just about best player on the pitch today.Very very closely follwed by Lovren ,Wanyama,Chambers & JWP. I thought we looked rock solid,even Fonte whilst looking the weakest link looked much improved. Lovren & Wanyama really do look the real deal .Clyne could have trouble getting his place back if today was anything to go by. JWP looked well lively hope he continues.Gotta feel sorry for Cork but VW is a beast and IMO a big improvement. I know its only one game but i think we looked alot more mature than last season.Ramirez was a bit disappointing when he came on .All in all a fantastic day.Great all round team performance,quite a few individual stand out performers .Set the bar high gotta maintain in now . love it

We finally have a chairman who is clearly ambitious and is not content to just stagnate.whether we manage to sign an Osvaldo ,Damaio ,Benaga or similar class of player or not ,i for one applaud his audacious efforts.Even without another top class acquisition(as i think the two so far are real quality) we are in far better shape than many would have you believe. All this talk of we are wasting time going for unrealistic targets is really annoying.The club clearly have a vision and it is not standing still as many here would appear to favour. As for loan players personally i think they should be banned or at least from within the same division. Surely it is better to fail trying ,than fail to try. All hail The Don

Couldn't agree more personally i think they'll finish 4th ,which by their standards is a total disaster .

I think the Fergie factor is being grossly overlooked .With the very same squad i don't believe for one sec they are going to be close to being the same force under Moyes. I cant wait for the UTD express to derail (by there own high standards )

I've never seen what the fuss is all about with Ferdinand.IMO he is probably the most over rated player i've ever seen.For a CB his defending ability is shockingly woeful, Vidic for me is streets ahead of Ferdinandl.Rooney is way over hyped too(not saying he's not a very good player just not the player he's made out to be).Now RVP oh for an RVP in our side.
