  1. Saddos are generally people who get very wound up by things that have absolutely no impact on their day to day lives.
  2. You must be fun to have about.
  3. Pop Larkin was a royalist
  4. Did you visit the Victory when you were there?
  5. So it directly impacts on your day to day life? I suspect your resentment is borne out of being chippy - its just a bit of fun enjoy it with everyone else.
  6. Pretty lonely day then
  7. Are you being racist?
  8. Shall we ask each other how your day has been? Me I watched the wedding with all the family and a few others, we drank champagne, cheered and the wife cried. Sadly I have to work this afternoon to keep my company afloat but they have all gone off to a big village celebrations with cake, booze, games and singing. A great coming together of the the community. Tonight its up the boozer for a special to make merry, toast the happy couple. A wonderful British occasion. So what did the chippy Republican's do? Life is about enjoying yourselves I reccomend it.
  9. As I said re-read the post I was replying too.
  10. Communism succombed to human nature. It is a pretty basic failing.
  11. Keynes speaks.
  12. Err no I think you may need to reread the context of the reply. I love how you simplify the 'failed experiment' of communism. Millions were murdered, starved or imprisioned over a period of sventy or so years.
  13. Sadly it is how life works. People tug their forelock to anybody with money. Obviously that includes poeople who have inherited money. Even with socialism you have to tug your forelock at somebody because there will always be a hierachy. The Swedish Royal wedding was a massive turn off. Hotel bookings were exactly the same as they had been the previous year. Our monarchy is interesting because it is still functioning.
  14. Yes it worked in Russia.
  15. Its nice top have a part of the public sector that offers good value for money.
  16. I would get passionate about things that would genuinely change your quality of life. Go and live in Belgium if you so love bland.
  17. I think he may have married the wrong sister.
  18. Well to some it is 'a work of art' to others in Japan it offensive.
  19. Exactly. One mans humour is often offensive to another but please nobody tell me what I can an cannot laugh at.
  20. Oh its just that we were talking about censorship in comedy; we seem to have switched to Rwandan genocide. Very random. You were explaining how you do not believe in censorship in comedy and I was asking how you how if a similar youtube clip ridiculing the Japanese Royal Family causing a great deal of offence to the Japanese people. Would it then be a 'work of art' or would you seek to tell people that they cannot laugh at it.
  21. are race and culture not aligned?
  22. What if people found it funny. What sort of measures would you advocate?
  23. Yes a hint in a sort of politically correct policemans sort of way suggesting you could be sensing there could be 'perceived racism' way. 'Run along son on this occasion but I am watching you'.
  24. Yes but if it featured the Japanese Royal Family you and the rest of the liberal illiberal would be calling for it to be banned and arrests to be made.
