You have hinted that Turkish's avatar may be very sinister. - but you are prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. -

Well actually a lot of people would find that offensive but I am not going to tell people what they can or cannot laugh at. Sadly this is not the approach of the PC gestapo. You often fall into this camp. But that is very much a Guardian readers trait. -

So its 'a work of art' if it offends British People? and if it offended other cultures you will jump back on your tedious high horse. -
Good luck. Tough times - what did you do?

Personally I find AV extremely dull; it is far more likely to turn voters off than on; how will that sort the falling turnouts out? I like our general elections, with Jonathan Dimbleby, swingometers, independent candiates campaigning on one issues, Sunderland east being the first to declare. First Past the Post has does the jopb for me. Its a no from me.
-
As a rule I get most offended by people who are so quick to judge other people and take offence on behalf of other people.
-
Very sad. Proper character.

View from the top you were wrong. I cancelled my trip after your comments but my four year old daughter had already told everyone she was going. My trip today was every bit as enjoyable as any game I have been to - it was just very emotional for me. The kit and the Name on the back was a bit pricey though. So happy I did it.

Prime Minister Cameron blocks Browns bid to head up the IMF
Sergei Gotsmanov replied to dune's topic in The Lounge
Well we may have to agree to differ on that because I believe that he either believed he had genuinely ended boom and bust in which case he is an idiot or he was telling a lie which makes him a liar. -
I am afraid that ion the eyes of comrade Verbal anybody on the right's opinion's are invalid. If you disagree with the Independent you you are an 'internet dwebe'. Yet The Telegraph is written off as the Torygraph.

Why? Does it not counter your argument that Gordon Brown is a shrewd economist? -

do you mean booms and busts? -
Was it not 1977?
-
Its a bit of fun - you are being chippy.
-
Sorry, does that not fit in with your rural village stereotype?
-
Well our village is and there will be lots of drink taken and singfing and dancing. The community will come together in a way that only thge British can. I am sorry that some of you are not part of a community anymore.

It was more the fact that he told everyone he was about to sell our Gold that was the really stupid thing. -
The masters of the gavy train the Kinnockas say yes.

The NHS is the third biggest employer behind the Indian railways and the Chinese Red army. Do you not think it wise to explore ways of getting more value for money from it in these times of austerity. Already the lib dems are are putting pressure on the torys and that is a good think - a good check.
-
A little confused - what is wrong with that
-
With a coalition government you will always get u-turns.
-
In 2005 they had 35% of the vote and won 60 seats majority I think
-
I know you will disagree but actually we really do have a good compromise now. The Lib Dems can keep a check on the more zealous Tory cuts.
