It's as if the linesman got confused about which way the teams were kicking. He obviously thought the Reading player was trying to clear the ball off the line, but they were the attackers...... Pretty shocking error, but yes the Reading players should have admitted it wasn't a goal. Pretty poor sportsmanship.

At first I thought you meant he would leave Saints for a lower league club. Then I thought some more.............................

They kept saying it was our record low home league attendance on Radio Hampshire as well. Is this like that 'football only began with the invention of the premier league' tripe that Sky like to propagate? Did Saints only come into existence when we moved into SMS?

As the dad of a young boy, I really can't comprehend things like this. I find it very upsetting to even think about it.

Surely it's equally as bad as that? At least we scored. And we were playing a team who were clearly a lot better than us. Man City are supposed to be your equals.

Saints are in trouble then, as we are selling all our tickets at a loss.

Surely our record so far this season suggests that we have less chance of winning games in this division than we ever had in the Premiership doesn't it? Before the Ipswich game we were experiencing our worst start this century (as far back as I could be bothered to look), and I can't imagine the last two games have improved on that stat.

We were in this league last season as well.

That's good to hear. He's still got a lot to learn, but I wouldn't want him to become another Blackstock or Best and go elsewhere.

Yeah you're wrong. We had 6 points after 5 games last season. This is our worst start since 2000-2001, when we also had 3 points after 5 games (we'd drawn 3 lost 2). Looking on the bright side, we came 10th that season.
