I read an article the other day, someone has written a book which claims he has been dead for about six years, they've just been using impersonators for his infrequent public appearances.

I'm glad they've gone back to the old shape for the nano, didn't really like the square one. http://crave.cnet.co.uk/#49298836

We may have only had one 'bad game', but at the same time I don't think we've managed to string a good 90 minutes together yet. We've had bad spells in every game.

Tiger Woods 09 is £15 in Morrisons at the minute, so £15 for 08 seems a bit steep.

Reading how long ago those programmes were on makes me feel incredibly old.........

The reality, as usual, is that it's a bit of both. Blackpool had the fewest away fans I can ever remember seeing at SMS, must have been only 100-150. I would say an 'average' away turnout would be more like 1000-1500. The fact that it was on TV probably knocked around 1000 off the gate. Holidays do have an effect, they did even when we were in the Premier League. Maybe around a thousand people. If anything, the worst aspect of it being on TV will have been the many people who tuned in after hearing the reports of how great we'd been this season. If we'd put on a good show, it probably would have translated to a couple of thousand extra fans for our next home game. So I'd say that, taking the above into account, our 'real' attendance for the Blackpool game would have been around 18000-19000. Still down on last season, but not quite as dramatic. Having said that, if we linger around the bottom of the table all season, I can see us getting a crowd that would have fitted into the Dell this year, for the first time since we moved.

Once you factor in appearance fees, wages for the people who work at the ground etc, I wouldn't be surprised if the Carling Cup games actually increase our losses.

Yeah by his boots, and then another part by the side of his chair. If it's a fan base, it's the biggest fan in the world. Although thinking about it, Westwood is the biggest fan in the world. I stand by my claim that it's a multigym. You can see two black foam bits where your hands go.

Looks like it might be a multigym. You can see the base of it on the floor.

The commuters were equally shocked when they realised that today is Wednesday.

20. I am the best (along with the others who got 20).

It wasn't all bad. He did get us to a cup final.

It also depends how much we have paid for Scheiderlin. I've seen several amounts mentioned.

I've never known anywhere in Fareham to sell Saints shirts. Always used to annoy me that Hargreaves only sold Pompey tops, even when they were crap.

Well done, you are officially ITK. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/b/bournemouth/7593850.stm

I've got several seats, but have never though of anything useful to do with them.

Don't cap salaries based on turnover then, have a fixed amount as a salary cap for every club in the league. That's how salary caps normally work.

Think people are getting BWP and Dyer confused. Dyer pleaded guilty, and has received his punishment. BWP entered a plea of not guilty, and is therefore going to court for a trial. That is what is taking place today.

Player trading & finances - a rough guide .
Scummer replied to CHAPEL END CHARLIE's topic in The Saints
Why? It's only in the player notes section. If someone was to look at the players Saints have used this season, they might think 'who is this Kaland bloke?' The player notes explains it. -
The front rows of seats were 'underground' as it was. If we'd put any more rows in you'd have needed a periscope to see the pitch.
-
No, they extended it by 24 hours.

He didn't come from Pompey, he joined us from Swindon. Although Pompey is who he went to when he left us.

Not quite, I don't think. Attendance at the last game at the Dell was 15,252. Saturday was 15,629. Close though, and I'd have thought it won't be long before we get an attendance that would fit in the Dell.

According to Radio Hampshire, he was meant to be on the bench but there was some kind of mix up. Not sure if he wasn't correctly registered, we had too many loan players, or what? It's possibly something which should be explained.
