I wish I had your confidence. This must be one of our worst ever starts to a season. As time goes by, we pick up more injuries, and our players start to get fatigued as a result of never playing more than about 20 games a season before, it could be pretty ugly.

I may have got this wrong, as I was suffering a bit from the night before, but for their first goal didn't they have a player who stood off the pitch and then ran back into play as the ball came across? Isn't this against the rules?

It's not silent, it's just not pronounced in the same way as you'd expect.

Lemon Sole is very good. They have a fish counter, you go up and choose which fish you want, how you want it cooked etc. You pay by the weight of what you ordered. Loch Fyne at Gunwharf is good as well, although it's a chain. They have their own loch in Scotland (Loch Fyne, funnily enough), where a lot of the seafood comes from.

That's largely to do with the late decision regarding the highlights though. You could argue that 300,000 viewers for a programme that wasn't actually listed anywhere is not too bad. If they decided to do the same next time, putting highlights on an unscrambled channel, and actually advertising the fact, they'd probably get a lot more viewers. In fact they might see it as a good way of enticing non-subscribers to watch their channel.

What sort of figures do Sky normally get for football? For Premiership games they only ever seem to get a couple of hundred thousand.

I don't know what advert you are talking about. Most of the stuff I watch these days is on V+, I fast forward through the adverts.

I know I'll get grief for this, but I think Svensson has had it to be honest. I'll be amazed if he plays 20 games this season. It can't be good for the stability of the defence when you are changing your centre backs every other game.

Each generation has lasted a year. They seem to launch a new generation every September. I've got a Black 1st Generation 2gb. Still works but the battery is knackered, so I don't tend to use it much these days except in a dock. A 16gb one is very appealing. I've got the Nike+ running attachment, and shorts etc with specially designed pockets for the iPod. Obviously the 3rd gen was never going to fit, so I'm hopeful that the new one might. Also saw that they've added a Nike+ receiver to the Touch, I wonder if it might be a bit big for running though.

She's back now, still as annoying as ever.
