Fair play. I'm dreading what will happen when my 18 month old gets into football, I think I'd rather he became a glory hunter than supported Portsmouth.

I personally don't see why we would be spending 300k on a player who's not that young but only has a handful of career appearances, when we've currently got Wotton and Euell as backup. But hey, what do I know.

If someone else is willing to pay his wages, I think he'll go. He wasn't used much in pre season, and not on the first day of the season either was he? He's pretty much forced his way into the team, much as the others should be allowed to do.

Yep I think I agree, we're paying their wages, we should be making use of them while they are still here.

Having been sold this idea of a young team, with no negative old journeymen, it's just depressing that we are now offloading our top 'young' players as well. Players like Davies and Surman are what I hoped we would build our team around. And on top of this, it looks like we will be stuck with several of the expensive old players....... It's not a great time to be a saints fan.

It may have just been me not paying attention, but I thought that Lallana was anonymous against Brum. He needs to start making more of an impact.

I wouldn't be surprised at all. He's probably on big wages, and we've seen pretty clearly that the approach being taken is to offload anyone on more than a couple of grand a week.
