Yep, to me it was clear that people were insinuating that something was going on, and that the question wasn't really about whether they could be bothered to go to a game. I always think Claridge is pretty good on 5Live, although he's better as a contributor than a presenter. Friday evenings, with him and Gabrielle Marcotti (sp?) are very entertaining.

Chelsea aren't anywhere near as well supported as you'd think. Even as recently as the early 1990's they had less fans than we are currently getting. For more evidence of this, look at their Champions League group games where they often have thousands of empty seats.
