Thanks for letting me know that, watched the first episode last night. Dexter is a quality programme. Read the first book recently and was a bit disappointed, might have been better if I hadn't already seen the series I suppose. I'm sure I know the answer to this, but why does it appear in widescreen yet not at full size on my TV? I have a few inches of black around all four sides.

It didn't hit the advertising boards, it hit some poles which were lying on the floor behind the goal. Poles which were used before the game to hold up some netting to the side of the goal. I'll bet we started storing them somewhere else after that match.

It's as if the linesman got confused about which way the teams were kicking. He obviously thought the Reading player was trying to clear the ball off the line, but they were the attackers...... Pretty shocking error, but yes the Reading players should have admitted it wasn't a goal. Pretty poor sportsmanship.

They kept saying it was our record low home league attendance on Radio Hampshire as well. Is this like that 'football only began with the invention of the premier league' tripe that Sky like to propagate? Did Saints only come into existence when we moved into SMS?

As the dad of a young boy, I really can't comprehend things like this. I find it very upsetting to even think about it.

Surely our record so far this season suggests that we have less chance of winning games in this division than we ever had in the Premiership doesn't it? Before the Ipswich game we were experiencing our worst start this century (as far back as I could be bothered to look), and I can't imagine the last two games have improved on that stat.
