He's so much more than just a full back though. He's more like a very good winger that happens to be a very good defender. Keep him at all costs unless he specifically asks to leave.

Our England lot will be playing four games, top. The winners will play seven. I don't see it as much of an excuse, barring severe injury.

Compared to the amounts of money we're getting from the TV deals and the PL for being in it, sponsorship is a drop in the ocean. I'd rather get £1m from a local company than £5m from Wonga or some other loan shark - the amount is small enough (relatively) that it doesn't really make much difference. I'm pleased to have Saints continuing to support the community - and their logo isn't awful!

I guess Kate and Gerry are running low on cash again.
