I have it on very good authority that the club has received an offer for Fernandes, however waiting for conclusion of the U21 Euros before considering any offers. He will not be here come September. Like most of our transfer business, will likely be late in the window.

I didn't watch the game today, but hopefully he can kick on with a bit of confidence. If he's to be a top player, he will look head an shoulders above in the Championship. Really abject performance. Scared to attack, happy to piss around with it 70 yards from their goal rather than look to break lines. Russball just about got us out the championship because man for man, we were better than most. That is not the case this year and it's just so easy for premier teams to defend. Players who should not be anywhere near the team include Stephens, Smallbone and Armstrong. Just not good enough for this level. Shining light was Dibling, if he's not starting he needs to be getting 30mins minimum. Hopefully we see a raft of changes, if not and russ continues with his madness, it won't be pretty. His positional play is atrocious and he constantly gives the ball away with loose passing. The fact he gets pushed up into midfield is scandalous. He gets in the way, disrupts the rhythm and creates gaps for the opposition to expose.

I would genuinely sack him and get another manager in who can get this lot up through the playoffs. Said it at the start of the season, he's massively out of his depth. This was only masked by the 25 game run against all the cross in the league!

Russball. More toilet against anyone half decent. Shoe horning Stephens into the side then putting him into midfield where he just gets in the way. Out of position in defense and we're just so brittle at the back.

He made some poor decisions today, pulling Sulemana and Small one was a couple. Potentially hooking the wasteful Adams. He still made more happend than Mara or Armstrong through the middle. Defence was shit for their equaliser..

About a month a go he made reference to Jack Stephens being needed in the run in. Since shoehorning him into the team at the expense of possibly the best defensive partnership in the league we continue to ship goals.

Consequences of poor performance and game plan. Second half with a more direct intent and purpose was much better than the first, but the game was gone.

Nearly every time Dibling got the ball in the first half, he made something happen. His first touch is fantastic, one of the best I've seen in years, creates himself some much time and space through it. Coupled with his ability to turn on a sixpence, he's a nightmare for defenders when. Receiving the ball back to goal. First time I've seen him play and I can certainly see that he's got something about him. Meghoma again was fantastic. Played like an experienced lb. Stands his man up well, good in the tackle and let very little get past him or into the box - very much like Ashley Cole was. Great at going outside his man, definitely some learning and development for him with decision making going forwards. Think he'll be a top player.
